NBHA MIDWEST REGION CHAMPIONSHIP

The 2010 Midwest Championship was held on January 23-24, 2010 at the Sportsman's Association Grounds near Grove Springs, Missouri. Judges Gailen Cooper and Kevin Western selected Valedictorian, owned by Bob Caffey and Robert Dardenne as Champion after a strong 3 find performance with a good race and an excellent relocation on a running covey. Valedictorian was handled by Robert Dardenne. Reigning National Amateur Champion Wild Covey Heatwave was selected as Runner Up Champion after a 3 find performance and a strong race. Henry was handled by Tony King. Both dogs showed the maturity and polish it takes to win a highly contested stake like this. -Chris Gebhardt
