River Haven Brittanys in Hertford, NC has an outstanding litter of AKC registered Brittany pups. The litter was born September 18. There are five males available and ready for their new homes. They will be ready for pick up or shipment after November 12.

These pups will make perfect Christmas gifts. If needed, I will be willing to hold the pups for pick up closer to Christmas!

The pups are white/orange and orange roan. See the updated pictures of the pups above. Click on the pictures to make them larger.

Please dont delay, these pups will sell quickly. Pups will be reserved in the order that deposits are received.

If you are interested in a pup from this exceptional breeding, please contact Chuck Cullens at 252-333-6353 or email me at [email protected] A $100 deposit will hold your spot on the waitlist. Deposits are refundable.

The litter was sired by Bullets Ace Hi Gambler and was whelped by Gamblers Hope’n Time’ll Fly. Both Ace and Hope are exceptional bird dogs. They have outstanding pedigrees and we expect these pups to be top-of-the-line hunting dogs, great companions and potential field trial prospects. See the combined pedigree below.

This is a repeat breeding. We have received lots of positive feedback from the owners of the pups from the first litter. See REVIEWS above to read the comments of the owners of pups from previous litters. The pups from the first litter have shown lots of natural bird-finding abilities, retrieving skills and great temperaments. One of the pups from the previous litter will be competing in the National Shoot to Retrieve Association (NSTRA) this coming fall.

Please visit our website at www.riverhavenbrittanys.com for more information about our dogs. There are lots of hunting pictures and more pictures of pups from previous litters in the Gallery. Also, each of our males and females has their own page with additional pictures and information.

Ace and Hope are both grand-sired by NFC DC AFC Gamblers Ace in the Hole (HOF). Gamblers Ace in the Hole comes from a long line of National Champions and Hall of Famers including NFC FC AFC Rimarda’s Gambler, FC AFC Rimarda’s Trademark (HOF), NAFC FC AFC The Real Thing, 2x NFC DC AFC Ban-Dee (HOF) and FC Kay-Cee Bandit (HOF). NFC DC AFC Gamblers Ace in the Hole (HOF) was the 1998 NFC Champion, 1999 IAMS Award winner and the 1999 Quail Classic Champion. It was once said by a veteran field trial participant concerning Gamblers Ace in the Hole,...In over 40 years of participation in field trials, I have never seen another dog that I always found exciting, often thrilling and never disappointing.

Gamblers Ace in the Hole not only has an impressive resume of field trial accomplishments but has also produced two National Gun Dog Champions:
2x NGDC NAGDC DC High Hopes Dark Nite
(2013 & 2014 NGDC, 2017 NAGDC)
2015 NGDC DC AFC Hi Points Summer Time

Gamblers Ace in the Hole also produced more Dual Champions than any Brittany sire in the history of the breed. In addition, he produced several other offspring that went on to win and place at the national level including: FC AFC Grand Junction Jake (2011 US Open Brittany Champion, 2008 Chicken Classic Champion, 3rd place NFC in 2010 and 2012), FC AFC Pale Rider (2007 NAGDC RU, 2006 NGDC RU), DC AFC This Gamblers Fly’n (2012 NGDC RU), DC AFC Sweetwater Billy Tucker (2009 NAGDC RU, NAGDC 3rd 2005, NGDC 4th 2008), and FC AFC Gamblers Eye of the Storm (NAGDC 4th 2006).

THE SIRE
Bullets Ace Hi Gambler, “Ace” is a bird-finding machine. Ace has been finding and pointing birds since he was 10 weeks of age. He is very biddable and solid on point. He has a great temperament and super nose and he trained very easily. Ace’s hips are rated OFA “Good”.

His grandsire on his mother’s side is 32x NSTRA Champion and 3x NSTRA Grand National Champion, Nolan’s Last Bullet (HOF). Nolan’s Last Bullet has the most wins of any dog in the history of NSTRA and he accomplished this feat while competing against Pointers, Setters and dogs of various pointing breeds. He is an inductee of both the NSTRA and American Brittany Club Halls of Fame. Nolan’s Last Bullet’s offspring include 15x NSTRA Champion Beeline Bullet’s Bravado (2002 NSTRA Grand Nat. Ch.), 10x NSTRA Champion Beeline Bullets Proof (2006 NSTRA Grand Nat. Ch.), 8x NSTRA Champion Beeline’s Oxidation (2010 NSTRA Grand Nat. Ch.), 12x NSTRA Champion Beeline Wink and 11x NSTRA Champion Split Creeks Medicine Man. Nolan’s Last Bullet is the grand-sire of 2009 NGDC NAGDC Peter Gunn and 2011 NAFC FC AFC Spanish Corral’s Sundance Kid.

Ace’s pedigree also includes other top producers like FC AFC Linvel’s Blazin’ Jake and CH Hope’s Red Pepper. These two dogs have produced several notable champions.

FC AFC Linvel’s Blazin’ Jake (NFC FC Beans Blaze (HOF) x FC Jack’s Rustic Bounce) was recognized as the top-ranked Brittany Gun Dog in 1991 and 1992 by Sporting Life Magazine and was a 2x winner of the Mid-South Gun Dog Challenge. THE DAM
The dam of the litter is Gambler’s Hope’n Time’ll Fly, “Hope”. Hope is also a fine bird dog and also has a very impressive pedigree. She is steady on point and has boundless energy and bird-finding abilities. Hope’s hips are rated OFA “Good”.

She was bred by Al and Cindy Cropek of High Hopes Kennel. After going on a pheasant hunt in 2016, I decided I was tired of losing birds. I did a lot of research on breeds, and talked to quite a few breeders. After Chuck and I had talked, I realized I had found my Breeder and hopefully a great pup. BEYOND! Smalls, my female Brittany, is an amazing, personable, great to train, but most of all, a hunting machine. I took her to an awesome trainer, Nathan Tekell, out of Winters Texas. Nothing but praise and high hopes for Smalls. I’ve been very fortunate to get a dog that both will go on point and then retrieve. Most of this by bloodline and instinct.

Smalls has made me a believer of Chucks breeding program, his bloodlines, and Brittany’s. What a great dog, family member, and friend Smalls has turned out to be.Thank you Chuck.

I have a female from last years litter, Sired by Deuce. At 3 months old she had a drive to find birds
that was nothing short of amazing!!. At 6 months my trainer stated if you breed her, I want one of her pups. She holds a Point that makes me shake my head and say to myself, Wow, her instinct to find birds and hold a point is beyond belief. She has a great personality in the house and in the cab of my truck. She just loves Kids and is a great family dog. She loves people in general. She does need her exercise everyday as all dogs do but she thrives on running and learning. Very good breed and the breeder is doing a great job producing a High Quality Brittany.

Thanks
