These are line-bred Sundance/Friedelsheim NAVHDA registered dogs. Sundance/Friedelsheim dogs are known for being quick developing, healthy, great stamina for multiple day arduous hunting trips. They have strong natural pointing, retrieving, swimming and tracking instincts. They are also very biddable and easily trained.
The dam, our Prissy, is barely three years old yet she is already an avid hunter. She has hunted scaled, California and Bobwhite quail as well as Chukar and Hungarian Partridges and Blue Grouse across New Mexico, Utah and Oregon.
Prissy lives indoors with three other German Shorthairs and gets along well with all dogs including a three-pound teacup poodle. In our nearly 60 years of owning shorthairs, Prissy may be the most natural hunter and creative problem solver weve seen.
