Raymond (sire) - Ray is a son of our own International Field Trial Champion Apache Joe “Prince” over our SOK Great Lakes girl “Cali”. He is a specimen of a dog and is everything we hoped for when we pulled out our first Prince straw since his passing. He looks so much like his sire, and he carries just the right attributes over from both Prince and Cali. He also has a very gentle and kind nature with everyone, adults and children, just like his sire and dam.
Ray is a fantastic marking dog, hard charging in the field, and really calm and collected at the line. He has explosive energy once he’s sent, and its fun to watch him run. When he’s not actively working, he is a very calm boy who loves to be close to his handler. He has a strong, athletic build with a big blocky head and very solid bone structure.
Raymond achieved his HRCH title just prior to turning two years old with a perfect pass rate through both seasoned and finished tests.
Charlie (Dam) - She is an admirable dog who is exactly what you want. Small in stature (57 lbs) her drive is unmatched, calm and quiet in the blind, and a wonderful off switch around the house. Excellent bone structure, athletic and strong. Her first litter of pups are excelling and showing great natural ability in the field while huge lovers in the field.
This pairing should be really special. The reason we chose Raymond was due to Apache Joe. We have a grand daughter out of Apache Joe that is the epitome of what every gun dog owner wants. Through speaking with the owners, we believe Raymond is exactly that dog as well! This pairing should have a great amount of drive and biddability to work through anything in the field. However, in the home they are going to be your best friend, loyal companion and always down for a good snuggle!
