Ava is a 9-year-old chocolate Labrador Retriever who has been an exceptional member of professional hunting team. Weighing 53 pounds, she is one of the sweetest, most dependable, and most well-rounded dogs we’ve had the privilege of working alongside.
Throughout her career, Ava has done it all: dove, waterfowl, continental shoots, and upland hunting. Although her professional working days are behind her, she still has the ability and enthusiasm to enjoy a few more seasons with a hunting family.
More than anything, Ava is ready to trade full-time fieldwork for a comfortable couch, plenty of affection, and a loving home where she can enjoy a well-earned retirement. She has given so much over the years, and our priority is finding a family who will appreciate her gentle nature, loyal companionship, and remarkable experience. She still has the drive and ability to hunt as as weekend warrior.
