The Wingshooter Kennels Started Gun Dog Program offers a selection of young dogs available this season. We maintain an outstanding group of young dogs from highly reputable breeders, and successful field trialers. Both parents are proven performers, and their pedigrees contain many national and recognizable field champions (see listing below). Our Started Gun Dog Program is dedicated to producing exceptional hunting companions. Our training program is designed to ensure each dog reaches its full potential. They develop a burning desire to seek, find and point birds. Their obedience, purposeful hunting pattern, game drive and forward cast is well balanced by the time they’re ready to go to their happy hunting home.
We believe a well-rounded dog is one that is well socialized. Our program includes ample opportunities for the dogs to interact with other dogs and humans. This helps to build confidence and ensures that the dogs are comfortable and well behaved in various situations.
