Description

Seven Irish setter puppies available. 5 males 2 females. These are field bred dogs with many field, show and dual champions in both lines. Yes, we are the very definition of a backyard breeder, and we do not take that as an insult, Id rather be a backyard breeder than a puppy mill. Both dogs are owned, loved and hunted with and by my family. I have spent the better part of three years building my pedigrees, investing countless hours and hundreds of dollars on research pedigrees and pictorial pedigree books. Several lines have been traced to the 1800s through at least 3 continents. If you enjoy the history of these reds I would encourage you to take a look. All pups are healthy and are up-to-date with their shots and vet check-ups. The dam is very sweet natured with a beautiful natural point. She represented Irish and Red Setters during 2022s Pheasant Fest in Omaha NE, and was featured in the magazine The Flushing Whip! The sire is a natural retriever and water-dog, and is a joy to watch work a field. Located in the Sioux City area of Iowa, we are not opposed to shipping, but would encourage everyone to play with the puppies to find the perfect fit.
