I have a GWP that has completed 9 weeks of obedience training and was sent for 4 weeks to learn ducks and live bird retrievals. She listens great and is obedient. Unfortunately out in the water she isn’t wanting to get out of the boat and make her retrieves. She does however walk with me through the woods smelling around and pointing. She also jumps out of the boat at the landing and does go in the water. I feel although she might not be a waterfowl dog she would be a great upland dog! |
