Litter out of Hank and Luna, both proven hunting dogs with strong working pedigrees. This cross was planned to balance drive and range with cooperation and trainability.
Luna is a steady, versatile female with a pedigree that blends field trial, NAVHDA, and hunt test bloodlines. Pedigree includes DC/AFC Friebiesheim’s Straight Fortune Mason MH, with strong influence from Sundance, Thunder Kings, River Bottom, and German versatile lines. Known for an excellent nose, cooperation, and biddability, with sound structure and a steady temperament. She should produce pups with intelligence, trainability, balanced range, nose quality, and reliability in real hunting situations.
Hank is a high-drive, field-bred male with a pedigree heavy in FC/AFC dogs. Heavy influence from Gambler’s, Kehm’s, Shooter, and Rawhide lines. Known for natural bird obsession and athletic build designed for speed and endurance. He should produce pups with speed, intensity on point, and serious bird desire.
These pups should mature into driven but usable bird dogs. They are expected to have strong bird drive and natural point, with enough speed and range to cover ground without being reckless. They should hunt forward with confidence, show good noses and early scent recognition, and still be trainable and cooperative under pressure. Athletic, durable builds and balanced temperaments should make them reliable hunting partners for long days in real hunting conditions. They should suit upland hunters, NAVHDA homes, and active working families.
Both parents are solid and healthy—we had their hips and elbows OFA cleared, and the pups have already been through a full vet check. They’re AKC registered, raised right here around the house, and get handled every day.
