NATIONAL Amateur Grouse Champion, 3X CH Grouse Trails Little Bud, now just 3 years old, is being offered to the public for stud service to good female Pointers. Buddy won his first Championship a year back at just 2 years old. This fall, at just 3 years old, he won 2 more Championships. All 3 were on WILD birds, Grouse, Sharptails & Woodcock. Bud is probably one of the best that Ive had in 40 years of running pointing dogs for Grouse hunting & wild bird field trials.
His mother, 3X CH, 1X RU CH Grouse Trails Warrior Cat, Kitty, owned by my wife & daughter, is out of John Stolgitiss Chasehill kennel, from the famed nick by CH Panola Bacon & CH Chasehill Little Izzy. That nick has produced a multitude of great Grouse hunters & cover dog field trial Championship winners, including Kitty;s sister & brother, CH Chasehill Poion Ivy & CH Ralphys Chasehill Rip. Many of those Championships include the Grand National & the Grands Invitational CH.
On Buds sire side,Toths Tornado Reloaded, Toro, is one of the greatest Pointer males for what I like, but never was trialed past his derby year (owners only hunt, they dont field trial). Toro placed in numerous derby stakes. Toro is out of my 6XCH, 2 RU CH Grouse Trails Pride & 4X CH, 2X RU CH Grouse Trails Cracker Jack.
Consequently, Bud has a multitude of aunts, uncles, sister & brother, & mother, & ALL 4 grandparents that are multiple Champions, mostly in Cover dog championships, plus a few Quail Championships.
Buddy has an incredible nose & phenominal bird finding intelligence! Hes very consistent. Hes very classy on point & running. Loves to please you type, sweet personality. Extremely easy to train & very biddable. But has all of the drive & moxy that youd want in a great hunting or very high caliber Championship level field trial dog. One example is that he would stand on a whoa command by 5 months (!!) old, head high, tail up, intensely tight waiting for the release command for his fun or training run. Wrap your mind around 5 MONTHS old doing that, with Moxy & high, very tight attitude!
He often makes me laugh with his antics. Sometimes an uncommon trait for Pointers, he also loves to retrieve. Extremely easy keeper, both in the kennel & traveling, & is very strong.
Again, he excells at everything that I would want in a great stud dog.
It would be extremely tough to find a stud dog with this many very close relatives proven with a multitude of Championship wins, & this many proven capabilities. Talk of greatness is cheap, Bud is proven! And so are his many close relatives.
If interested, I can send his pedigree & many pictures of him, his parents & close relatives.
Thank you for considering Bud for stud service to your good female.
