**Reggie & Zues — Started Male German Shorthaired Pointers Available**
We currently have **two started male GSPs, Reggie and Zues**, available out of **Armbrust’s Big Bold Bruno “June” × Armbrust’s Space Age Cowboy “Newt.”**
These males come from a deep field pedigree influenced heavily by the established **Armbrust and Rawhides bloodlines**, with generations of proven bird dogs behind them.
Their pedigree contains **National Field Champion, Field Champion, and Amateur Field Champion blood**, including dogs such as **Moesgaards RB Rhythm, Dixieland’s Smokin’ Freedom, and Rockin’ Rollin’ Penny**.
The breeding is also a **linebreeding on Rawhides Jumpin’ Jenny**, with June and Newt sharing Jenny as their dam while coming from different sire lines. This concentrates genetics from a common proven female while combining two separate branches of a strong field pedigree.
More importantly, Reggie and Zues are already showing what we want to see in the field.
Both are **extremely athletic, hard-running dogs that cover ground very well**. They hunt with purpose and have plenty of motor for someone looking for a serious upland dog.
**Both males are currently:**
* Finding and pointing birds
* **Steady through the flush**
* Currently **breaking on wing**
* Comfortable around gunfire with **no gun-shyness**
* Have had birds shot over them
* Have retrieved shot birds
* Naturally willing to pick up and retrieve game
* Very athletic and hard running
* Cover ground extremely well
* Showing strong bird drive and field desire
We are not advertising them as completely finished dogs. They are **honest started hunting dogs** with an excellent foundation already in place and plenty of room to continue developing.
We will continue putting birds and training into both dogs while they remain with us.
A buyer can also purchase one and **leave him with ALACIE GUNDOGS for additional training**. We can continue putting birds in front of him, shooting more birds over him, strengthening retrieving work, and developing him toward the individual owners hunting goals.
