**Zoey — Female German Shorthaired Pointer Available**
Zoey is a very nice young female out of our **Max × Carley breeding** and was originally one of the pups we planned to keep for ourselves. We ultimately decided we have enough young dogs coming up, so she is now available to the right home.
Zoey comes from parents that have been proven where it matters most to us — **in the field hunting wild birds season after season**.
Both Max and Carley have spent their lives hunting and guiding upland hunts, with extensive experience on **pheasant, quail, grouse, dove, and other game birds**. They come from working hunting bloodlines selected around natural ability, trainability, nose, retrieve, and the ability to be good dogs both in the field and at home.
Zoey has already shown many of the natural traits we hoped to get from this breeding. She has strong bird interest, is **pointing birds and holding until the bird flushes**, is already **backing/honoring other dogs on point**, enjoys retrieving, and **absolutely loves the water**.
She should develop into a **medium-ranging, athletic hunting dog** with enough motor to cover ground while still being a practical dog for the everyday upland hunter.
This breeding was designed around producing dogs that can actually be hunted hard — not just dogs with a pedigree on paper.
