Royalerun Kennel would like to invite you to attend one or more seminars with your dog. The purpose of these workshops will be to help you and your dog with any problems that you might be encountering in training, whether for competing in field trials, hunting or starting a new puppy.

We are accepting up to 10 dogs/day along with their owners for individualized work in the field on quail. This will give you a chance to not only meet and observe other owners and their dogs but to get individual training and input from a long time successful birddog trainer. We can evaluate your dog and give you some type of directions as to where you might need to go with him.

Dates: March 31, April 7, 14, 21 and 28, and May 5, 2012

Place: Royalerun Kennel, 7214 Owensboro Rd., Abbeville, GA

Time: 8am

Cost: $65.00/dog. This includes preliminary discussion and basic birddog training instruction (age to start a pup, e-collar use, tracker info, retrieving, conditioning, progression of training, and goals). You will have individual work with your dog and David on quail. Plan on lunch, birddog stories and just a general good time! If time and weather permit, there will be a demonstration of dogs at different stages of training- pups, started dogs, finished dogs and even a National Champion!

For those of you traveling from afar, check out the site www.bringfido.com for a pet- friendly motel in Eastman, Fitzgerald or Cordele. All those locations are within easy driving distance and would be an excellent place to spend Friday night in order to make it easier for you to arrive early and enjoy the cool morning weather.
For those flying in to the Atlanta airport, take Groome Transportation to Warner Robins and you will be picked up there.

We will also have Allen Thompson with us who will answer all your bird questions and who will be a good contact for you to get quail should you need them in the future.

Bubba Hollingsworth will be our grill master on the days when he can attend.

Cancellation and payment- A $15.00 deposit is required to hold a spot. The deposit will be forfeited if cancellation is less than 2 weeks from the date of reservation or please re-schedule for a future workshop.

Self-contained camping on grounds permitted.

I will be going to this seminar. Anytime I have the opportunity to learn from David King I will surely use it. My field trial dogs are in training with him. One made FC at 3 years of age, and the other is very close to FC... should have his title at the age of 3 as well.

David King is an incredibly good trainer/handler in my opinion!
