Gundog Central Server Outage

Jeff Davis | Go back to current news

Unfortunately yesterday morning Gundog Central, along with all associate site were down for over 24 hours. The server had a hardware failure, that I couldn't recover from, despite spending half a day trying to get it back online. I've had to purchase a new server... just to get everything back online, however I had to recover the sites from a backup the night before. It pains me to think that some of you may have lost your ads and / or photos, and for that I'd like to extend my deepest apologizes. This was an extremely rare event, but if there's any silver lining, it's that this new server is nearly 4 times more powerful. It may still take me a few days to get the server running the way it needs to, so please bare with me. If you see anything or experience any issues, please let me know.
