I've been working hard addressing everyone's concerns with the new site. I've gotten a lot of good feedback and some not so good. Some of you didn't like the new format and a lot people did. I needed to update the site and the framework that makes the site work in order to carry this site into the future. I've spent the last year and half completely rewriting the site. It's been a lot of hard work and a lot of new pages got created. I tested and tested the site before the update, even created a new site, hounddogcentral.com to beta test the site to make sure everything worked right. With something this big it's hard to find every possible problem, so there may be a few bugs that come up, I'll do my best to address these as they appear.

Gone is the orange background that made the site hard to read for some people. I've improved the format to work better with your mobile phones. I've improved the picture quality on newly submitted pictures. Pages are now cached to improve site.
A lot of the changes made to the new site are based on problems and issues people had with the old site. I've tried to streamline the process of signing up for an account. This appears to have paid off because our new member sign ups are up nearly 10 times what they were on the old site.
Pedigrees still exist on this site, however they will have to be recreated for your existing ads.. I couldn't transfer the pedigrees from the old site because the two systems aren't compatible. I think you'll enjoy this new pedigree system a lot more. The pedigree should autocomplete now if the dog is already in the system. Since this is a new system, some tweaks and bug fixes maybe required.
