HARDMAN KENNELS

We are passionate about our Bird Dog Pack, and we take pride in developing the next great generation of Bird Dogs. (The Englsih Setter is our breed of choice) I (RuSean Hardman) began my love affair with this wonderful breed in the year of 1989 as a junior in high school in Tulsa Oklahoma. I was raised with English Pointers as a youngster and began training and hunting with them all over the state of Oklahoma flanking my now deceased dad (Bill Hardman). After watching some of the outstanding dogs that my dad owned and cutting my teeth on killing quail over them, I began to wonder what other breeds were out there. And then I saw the English Setter. I fell in love with the looks at first and set out to find and own my very first English Setter. My first Setter was out of HOF CH. Tomoka, ( A great one to start with) and from the moment I laid eyes on her (HardMans Jodi Mae) I was love struck. Her personality, drive to hunt, and willingness to please, took me by storm. Setters are my breed of choice, however I am also pro GSP. We breed a few litters every couple of years, however training is our passion.
