MARSALS SETTERS

Marsals English Setters & Pointers is a small family owned hobby kennel which is owned and operated by Sal and his wife MaryBeth along with their 4 children, Salvatore, Isabella, Jack and Victoria . The kennels are located in Farmingdale, New Jersey about 60 miles south of New York City.

Our goal is to breed a high quality classy hunting dog that makes a great family pet and is extremely friendly, obedient and loves kids. We find that here in the northeast a close working dog is better suited for the type of terrain we hunt.

One thing to keep in mind when you are looking for any type of dog whether it is to be used as a hunting dog or pet you have to start with good genetics. When you start with good genetics it gives you a lot more dog to work with and makes training much easier. We want a dog that will hunt for you and with you not one that you will spend the day looking for. Our dogs do just that, they hunt for you, and they do it with class and style.

We will only keep in our kennel or breed proven dogs from champion bloodlines. We have traveled thousands of miles from New Jersey to Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, Michigan, New Hampshire, Connecticut, New York and Maine in search of the right dogs for our kennel.
