ROHNER KENNEL

This November my wife and I drove down from Minnesota to Kristin and Robs ranch in Texas and purchased Ginger, an 8th month old Brittany. She has been a fantastic hunting dog. My hunting partners rave about her abilities especially at her young age. Rob and Kristin have a laid back training style which I really appreciate. They let their pups develop their natural abilities. Ginger was collar conditioned and was/is a stanch pointer and excellent retriever. She has pointed and retrieved several birds for me already this season. Recently, I knocked down a pheasant in a rather steep and wide drainage ditch and had no idea where it fell. I had lost track of Ginger as she went for the bird. By the time I got to the edge of the ditch, Ginger showed-up with the rooster in her mouth and brought the bird to hand!

I found out almost by accident that one of Gingers Grand Sires is in the Brittany Field Trial Hall of Fame. Rob and Kristins dogs have great blood lines and as far as I can tell are all well started with great natural hunting abilities! If you are in the market for a Brittany, I highly recommend you go out to the ranch and watch these dogs in action. You wont be disappointed. Kristin and Rob are hard working, honest and forth right people and it was a pleasure doing business with them!
