A Treeing Cur is a hunting and farm dog that protects property, manages livestock, and hunts. As a Treeing dog, it works by tracking prey and forcing the animal to climb up a tree. The prey can be a bear, puma, squirrel, raccoons, wild boars, bobcats, mountain lions, and others. As a courageous hunter, the Treeing Cur breed uses its nose, ears, and eyes to track prey.
