Astor is a 3 year old white & orange spayed female. She is an exceptional companion and talented hunting dog.
Astor is housebroken and has a considerable amount of professional training. She was bred and whelped by a top field trial pro and remained with them for a few years in development training. We are looking to place her as we had been hoping for a competitive hour shooting dog and she is best suited for more of a gun dog range. She is quality that she could be competitive in field trial gun dog stakes and has a strong going gun dog range.
Astor handles very kindly, hunts hard, stays forward easily and goes with you well. She is well gaited, heat tolerant, fast working and animated. She does a nice job of swinging along field edges and also handled kindly into feed strips.
Astor has had experience in several states, various terrain, on coveys, and of course pen-raised birds as well. She has excellent & accurate bird finding ability and is pretty on point. She does have the foundation of breaking so is familiar with the belly collar and could easy move into breaking steady to shot. She is steady to flush now.
She has a nice natural retrieve and loves to carry birds. She does need more experience with to hand and just the retrieving sequence to gain speed and direct to hand.
She is housebroken and crate trained. She is also very quiet, clean, and content in a kennel environment too. She travels well and is great with other dogs and very friendly. She is a SUPER affectionate dog - we joke shes our therapy dog. Shes low energy, gentle, and attention seeking in the house. She would be wonderful with kids as well.

Beth is a 4 year old female (spayed) orange and white female. She is FC pointed and had spent most of her youth until her 3 year old year with a professional trainer and being campaigned as a field trial dog. She had experience Maine to Georgia.
She is a strong going gun dog - shooting dog and would be a competitive field trial dog in gun dog stakes. She had been started and well into the breaking process with broke finds but has been on the backburner. She has a considerable amount of training and development in her along with multiple placements. Shes very fast and forward with a nice pattern in the field. Shes best suited for someone who likes a really hard hunting dog with a bigger foot range. Shes always been very fast on the ground as well - to the point she made us question if she was moving too fast as a young dog but reliably finds birds and isnt running by anything. Shes pretty on point but is at the stage where she needs some more consistent work if you want her to be broke (steady to wing and shot).
She is a wonderful natured dog who is very easy to love with and a great companion as well. Shes very sweet, social, happy and wonderful with cats, kids, other dogs. Shes a very intelligent dog and has a great off switch in the home.
UTD on all vetting & vaccinations and has had annual bloodwork/urinalysis - all medical records are available. She was OFA healt tested as well (hips, elbows, heart, eyes, and patella).

She could ABSOLUTELY still field trial. She would be great even if someone wanted to get their feet wet and go learn the sport. Dont let her age fool you - she has more than enough go for walking or horseback trials and to still be very competitive. Regardless, wed love to at least get her into a hunting home as she still very much loves running and finding birds. She is broke steady to wing and shot but I suspect she would love to come a little undone and do some retrieving in her retirement ;) She DOES have a good retrieving instinct but since shes been a trial dog her whole life shes not been allowed the opportunity...intentionally HA!
Shes super stylish on her birds and has excellent bird finding ability. Shes steady to wing and shot and does back - but shes also known to have some naughty moments so shes never been 110%. Shes an easy handing dog and her range adjusts to grounds but is usually 70-120 yards. She can open up nicely on larger grounds and is fiercely competitive so if shes on the ground with another dog she doesnt like to be outdone!
Shes in great health. She had all her health testing (hips, elbows, heart, and eyes) and has Embark DNA testing. Shes been vetted annually including bloodwork/urinalysis/thyroid. She is UTD on all vaccines, was spayed recently and healed up, and has recent bloodwork. All lifetime medical records are available.
She is wonderful with other dogs, cats, kids, and knows no strangers. Shes a very sweet dog and cooperative but still very much has personality and a mischievous side. Shes the worlds best truck buddy and loves car rides, shes quiet and content crated, and is a dog you can take anywhere and do anything to. Shes honestly such a cool dog and has so much to offer.

Huck is an incredibly sweet male who has a wonderful pedigree and the talent and personality to match!
Huck was started early by an advanced Smith apprentice and spent a winter in SC. He was started development as a field trial dog.
We transitioned him to a hunting dog in 2025 and he has most recently been with a trainer for a 3 month tune-up and focused more on a shortened range, birds shot over him, and encouraging retrieve. He was health tested but never bred (OFA Hips Good, Elbows Normal, Cardiac Normal, Patella normal, PennHip .45/.36). Hes had annual bloodwork/fecal/urinalysis/tickborn panels and most recent bloodwork was 9/9/25. UTD on all vaccinations.
Huck is a fast, enthusiastic, and athletic dog who typically ranges 50-70 yards. He can open up pretty good but has been intentionally shortened some for hunting and isnt difficult to keep a handle on. He has a good recall but if you want/allow him to roll he can reach out and swing edges and fence rows. He isnt afraid to dog in when needed and hunts woods/cover well too. He has been run off foot, ATV, and horseback.
He has an exceptional nose and bird finding ability and a ton of point. He will need to continue steadiness work depending on your expectations but will find and point birds to go hunt NOW. If you want steadiness to flush the foundation is there but he will need to continue development. He will locate down birds and has a retrieve but also needs continued experience here to get to hand.
Hes extremely sweet and affectionate. Hes a softer dog in the home and was housebroken but will need a refresher. NO concerns with marking (he isnt even a leg lifter outside). Hes crate trained well and easy for all handling/grooming. Extremely good (plays like a puppy) with younger dogs and is respectful of older dogs. Totally kid friendly and appropriate (he LOVES attention).
Hed be an awesome hunting, companion and outdoor buddy. Hes a happy and very sweet boy!

Quality white & orange female (will be spayed 9/8) that is started but ready to get experience this fall. Shes lightly started so lacking polish but has the foundation to go hunt!
Roxie is a well bred, quality female who has has been loved meticulously maintained/vetted and a great training start but needs repetition. She was purchased as a field trial prospect and went on the back-burner for some bigger going dogs. We did breed her a few times so she is health tested (OFA good, PennHip(.31/.49) normal elbows, eyes, heart, and patella).
She has the basics and has been on quail and chukar, e-collar conditioned, pattern work, handle, shot over (shot gun) but needs more experience. She has a great nose and will find and point birds but probably needs more bird contact as she hasnt been on the volume of birds that wed like her to have seen at this point. She has a nice soft mouth and natural retrieve. She loves to carry birds but needs more work with bringing them to you - she gets them close but plays a little bit of keep away when she gets within a few steps.
Roxie has exceptional potential - its there genetically and she has enough to go have fun with afield but is going to make started dog type mistakes. She needs time and experience but will be a heck of a dog. Alternatively, if you want a dog just to go have fun with - shes ready to do that now! She is also pretty adjustable in range she shortens up in woods/thicker cover but will open up horseback or on an ATV. Typically shes probably 40-70 in bird fields.
We would NOT consider her housebroken although shes been in the house she would most definitely need a refresher as she wasnt in as much. She is crate trained and also is a clean and quiet dog in a kennel. Dog friendly, kid friendly but we question our trust with her around cats.
Shes VERY, VERY sweet, low energy to be around and super affectionate. Shes good traveling and will be a dog who will warm up quickly and easily in a new home.

Dixie is a well bred female who is easy, fun, and a very nice quality dog. Shes been well loved, meticulously maintained/vetted and had a great start.
Dixie was one of three keepers from a special breeding of one of our top bitches and a well proven field trial dog Hatch. Shes not a shooting dog range or breeding quality for us which is why we are looking to place her. She is extremely fun though which is why shes been hanging out with us as a companion and hunting dog. She is OFA excellent hips, normal patella and eyes. Shes been vetted thoroughly and is UTD on annual bloodwork and vaccines. She also had a dental cleaning.
She is super fun and easy to hunt. She handles kindly, goes with you, hunts hard and sticks to a foot handled gun dog range up to about 50 yards on average. She stays busy and is a bird freak. She has a great nose even in poor scenting conditions and a ton of point. She can use some steadiness work as she can move around on moving birds or if she wants better scent but very rarely flushes or bumps a bird. She has an outstanding natural retrieve within a few steps. She has had 100 yard cripple retrieves. A few seasons on her shes going to be an incredible retrieving dog. She does a great job too if she missed marking with getting out there, searching hard, and finding downed birds. She responds very easily to a collar and generally just needs tone/vibrate.
Shes house broken but probably could use some more manners depending on your obedience level expectations. She is wonderful with other dogs, kids and will torment (play point) cats but is respectful. She is quirky and bonds closely with people but isnt the most outgoing dog with strangers. We do think it will take her a little time to warm up and get truly comfortable with a new home. Shes very affectionate, social, FUNNY, and has a cute mischievous streak (and does smile when shes in trouble or knows shes pushing it). She loves toys and is a happy dog with a big personality. Crate trained, travels easily, not terrible on a leash, stakes out. Shes been handled foot, ATV, and horseback. She loves being with us and enjoys just fun things like swimming too.

Aspen is a superbly bred girl whose temperament and quality reflect her pedigree. Shes been well loved, meticulously maintained/vetted and a ton of development opportunities. You couldnt make her for the price shes available for!
Aspen was field trialed as a juvenile with 10 placements - she had a very promising juvenile field trial career. She also was shown and has 7 points to her CH. She was sent with a professional to get broke and fell right into poor timing with covid so was never picked back up as a broke dog. She got her JH title as well during the period of time that trials werent really happening due to shutdowns.
We transitioned her to a hunting dog and raised two litters from her so she is fully health tested. She has PennHip as well as OFA for Hips (Good), elbows, heart, patella and eyes are normal as well. Shes been vetted with annual bloodwork, fecal, and urinalysis and kept on HeartGard/NexGard. She will be spayed with pre-operative bloodwork on 9/9/25. Shes, of course, UTD on all vaccinations.
She went back with a pro trainer here the past few months for a tune up and is ready to go this fall! She has a great nose, is forward working typically at 50-70 yards but she will adjust to terrain as well as horseback/foot handling. She can get 100+ easily on horseback. She handles kindly and will shorten up in bird fields if you preserve hunt or in thick cover. Aspen handles on foot, ATV, or horseback. Shes not afraid to bust brush - she will dig in no matter the cover. Shes steady to flush but can get a little sloppy and may need a reminder. She has been on quail and chukar as well as pheasant, sharptail, and woodcock. She isnt one to bump or knock birds but she can occasionally get little unsteady if the bird is moving. She does have a natural retrieve as well but since she was started as a field trial dog this skill is new - she does a great job locating the down bird and bringing it back but still a teeny possessive to bring to hand. She will get it within a few steps and loves to carry them. She just needs more experience to hand and we havent been making a big deal of it with her right now since shes getting them and getting them close to us.
Shes has an incredible personality and is a very sweet, affectionate dog. Shes great with kids and no issues with other dogs. Crate trained and a very easy traveling dog even cross country. She is mostly housebroken but likely needs a little refresher on house manners. Lower energy in the home, quiet and easy! Shes family friendly and the type dog who will go boating with you (she LOVES water), hiking, camping or just relaxing at home.

Whiskey is a dog if you want a family-friendly turnkey incredibly buddy. She is a heartbreak dog and we are dreading even considering looking for a retirement home. She truly is a devastating dog to consider not retiring with us but we dont know if that is the right decision for her. Be prepared to sell yourself well as we are not planning to place her unless a truly special home comes along that can offer her more than we do. We arent set on finding her a home elsewhere. She has been Dans girl since she was born. If you are someone whose kids want the playfulness and excitement of a puppy but you want a housebroken, trained animal with an off switch she is your girl. If you are a childless home that wants a literal furry best friend that has her own identity and is up for anything - she is your girl. Whiskey is 6 but plays and has the personality of an 8 week old puppy. Shes SUPER playful, engaging, happy, sweet, and probably the most intense dog we have ever owned. She makes eye contact that looks into your soul and shes a level of intelligent that almost makes her creepy. She is NOT a boring dog. She is great with children, other dogs, and cats (she WILL point cats for extended periods of time when she is bored though). She is very adaptable, fun-loving and trainable. She was a very talented juvenile field trial dog then became one of Dans hunting dogs as after her first litter we got addicted to her ability to produce stupidly naturally talented pups. She is fast, snappy, and driven in the field with a nice gun dog range and is also adjustable to type of hunting and terrain. Shes not afraid to take a long fence line and get out there but shes happy to dig in to rough brush too if thats where birds are. She has a wonderful nose and is smart working her birds. She was broke steady to wing and shot but we allowed her to get sloppy as we were primarily hunting pheasant so she will track and is currently steady to flush. That said, if you are someone who likes a finished performance she could probably use some steadiness tune up - if you want to go get birds and have fun - shes ready now. She has a very nice natural retrieve. We didnt ever force fetch her but I cant think of a time she didnt bring a bird back. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a broke dog for this hunting season or a dog to get your feet wet with field trials. Troy is a 6 year old tricolor male.
He has a very happy, bouncy, engaging, affectionate, and enthusiastic temperament and is wonderful with dogs, children and cats (although he will try to play with cats). Hes talented enough he could be a competitive weekend field trial gun dog. The reason we are placing him is we have too many male dogs currently and are cutting back for a bit due to a family circumstance. Its unfortunate as we got him this far that hes reliably broke and ready but we cant do it and he is too nice to be on a backburner. He is pretty dang honest and reliable with being steady to wing and shot. Hes super easy to work with and requires very minimal hacking and handles kindly. Hes typically a gun dog range (70 yards) but on open grounds and horseback he has opened up for us (150+). He adjusts VERY easily from walking to RTV to horseback. Very good nose and bird finding ability. Hes super with traveling, grooming, vetting and is a really fun and pleasant dog. He has plenty of experience on wild and liberated birds of most species. Hes been in countless states and hunts smartly and versatility on all terrain.

We are looking for a special home for an exceptionally special dog. She is a 7 year old orange and white female. She is incredibly affectionate, mild mannered, and truly an exceptional companion in the home. She is house broken and crate trained. Wonderful with other dogs, cats, and children. If youre retired and looking for a best friend that you can hunt or if you want a talented hunting dog that is wife and family friendly this is your girl.
She was professionally trained and steady to flush and retrieve but we have not shot over her this year as she had her last litter of puppies. She was hunted in the fall-winter 2022 season. She is a BIRD DOG. Shes the type dogs that is tough and will take you to birds even in super challenging conditions. She is bred impeccably well but we are NOT releasing her with breeding rights. We would actually prefer to spay prior to placing but with hunting season around the corner we didnt want to do that now in case someone wanted to get her out this fall. Addie is a 5 year old (turned 5 in June) white and orange female. Shes bred extremely well including her sire Sonny just being elected into the Brittany Field Trial Hall of Fame.
We purchased her as a puppy and she had a successful field trial career in puppy and derby stakes. She then went with a very well known field trial pro in the midwest for the breaking process her 2 year old year. She spent about a year in Nebraska. When she returned home she wasnt totally ready for trials and honestly somehow she landed on the back burner then had a litter in 2021 and most recently also in July.
Shes an incredibly sweet dog and a true pleasure to be around. Shes mild mannered, quiet, clean and is housebroken and crate trained. Shes a talented dog in the field but we have not worked her on birds lately so her price is reflective of that she very likely needs a tune up and most definitely conditioning.
We do want her to go to a really good home. She would be an incredible hunting dog and companion. I do think she could have another litter or two but Id hate to see her go just as a broodbitch. Ivy has been campaigned by Al Cropek in open stakes and ourselves in amateur and has seen success in hour stakes as well including RU at the Michigan Championship and PA Shooting Dog Championship at Mingo. Shes as stylish as they come and a fiercely competitive dog. Ivy has had one litter which produced incredibly talented and precocious pups.

We are very excited to announce the upcoming repeat litter of Katie & Vice. This litter produced true bird dogs the first time with a ton of desire, stamina, and intelligence. The pups were everything we had hoped for and are excelling as hunting companions and competition dogs. We kept two females who are both proving to be hard-charging competitive field trial dogs. The pups were early maturing with a calm demeanor and a head full of sense. They were wide ranging pups who want to go with you and find birds.
This litter is due around February 14th and we can expect orange & white, liver & white, and tri-colored puppies. Both parents are health tested: Katie is OFA Excellent hips, normal patella, cardiac, elbows, eyes. Vice is PennHip .26/.28 (within the tightest 5%) , normal eyes, normal patella, and normal cardiac. We have a really nice 10 week old orange roan male we are hoping to place into a hunting home. He is a confident, bold, independent pup with a ton of composure for his age. Hes beautifully put together and a pup with a lot of presence. He has a 12 oclock tail and seems like hes going to be high and tight on both ends on his birds. Hes smart, attentive, and provides plenty of eye contact. He is curious and confident in new environments and whatever we throw at him. He is very well bred. Cash is a very (VERY) lightly started 13 month old orange and white male (intact male).
He is out of proven field trial and wild bird dog parents who are full health tested (OFA hips, elbows, eyes, heart, patella, and Embark DNA tested). His sire is 1 point from his FC title and his mom is an incredible wild bird dog.
We kept two males from this litter and honestly have not had the time we need to dedicate to working them and are needing to reduce our kennel. They were worked regularly as pups and have been introduced to check cord work, birds, and blank gun but need work.
He has a really nice temperament. Attentive, affectionate, and wonderful with other dogs and all people. He is crate trained and pretty good at heeling on a leash. He would make a great family companion as well. Hes easy to handle and great for routine grooming and care.

Logan is a very talented intact male Brittany who just turned a year old. He's orange roan and is right at the top of breed standard size - he's a bigger dog. He's of substantial build and very handsome.
Temperament: Logan is a very even tempered male that falls on the calmer side. He's easy to work with, affectionate, attentive, and very trainable. He's crate trained and is in the house now but he is not fully housebroken and needs work on manners. He is quiet and totally content in his crate. He's not destructive or overly wild but had spent 6 month with a trainer in a kennel so needs brushed up. We don't leave him unattended but he's also not marking or doing anything too bad :) He's great with other dogs and people. He's confident, curious, attentive, affectionate, and biddable. He's easy to groom - cleaning ears, baths, toe nail trims (Dremel or clippers) he's all still and easy for.
Training: He is steady to flush now and has been worked primarily on chukar, quail, and pigeon. He did do a few preserve hunts on pheasant as well. He is totally acclimated to gunfire although we have only had 2 gunners over him to date (so not big groups). Logan retrieves well and does a well above average job with quickly locating downed birds that are a little tougher to find. He's determined on the retrieve. He is retrieving within at least 2 steps. Every once in a while he will try to stop short (at that 2 step distance) but if you tell him fetch and here he will finish to hand. The vast majority of the time he retrieves directly to hand and not at that 2 step distance.
He handles VERY easily in the field. He coverers ground well and will respond to you looking for him to quarter but he also can be directed to hedgerows or edges well. He's at probably 30-50 yard range now. He will make some larger moves but travels with you and stays forward very well. He responds well to "come" to bring him back closer to your general area and "here" to come all the way to you.
Logan is suitable for both an experienced hunter or a first time bird dog owner. He's uncomplicated, fun, and does a really nice job locating, pointing, and retrieving birds. He's going to make a wonderful companion and talented bird dog that will only become better in the years ahead.
To top it off, Logan has a really nice pedigree that are proven, titled dogs, with health testing. He's UTD on all vaccines, flea & tick, and heartworm.

We have a very nice well started gun dog available. She is a coming 1 year old orange roan female (intact) with an exceptional pedigree. Emma is a nice sized female who is pretty leggy and has some filling out to do but will likely finish in the 35-38# range. She is outgoing, bold, affectionate, and a little sassy. She gets along well with all dogs and is social. Emma is a little immature although that is to be expected as a 11 month old. She is a very nice dog and will continue to develop as she gains experience and exposure. She is pointing and retrieving to hand. Stakes out well, e-collar conditioned, fully gun conditioned, started whoa breaking, knows all basic commands in the field. She handles kindly and is to the point she just needs to go hunt and learn from various situations now. She will be a very nice gun dog and family companion. She would be best suited for someone who has owned a hunting dog in the past as she can test you at times. She is a very smart dog but likely needs someone with some experience to keep her on track especially in the first year. She is truly a fun, biddable, and talented dog that is going to only continue to get better.

Cash is a really cool white and orange spayed female. She had been one of our top field trial prospects but we had a late start with breaking her steady to wing and shot. She had been broke by a professional trainer in CO and spent a significant amount of time in the midwest with a pro field trial handler making her way back to us on the east coast last winter to whelp a litter. We had intended to brush up her manners to trial here but we have several young dogs running and made the hard decision to spay and look for a hunting companion home.
She has been well exposed to the prairie and is a bigger running dog. Prior to making her way out there she had been with us here in PA hunting stocked pheasants and planted quail. Shes been on every type of bird you can imagine. Cash is just one of those hard hunting, all day dogs that will get out there and go but handles very easily and wants to go with you. Aside talent in the field shes an awesome house dog with a great personality. Shes a unique dog that makes you smile and is a soulfully sweet companion. We have not done much with her this summer and she did whelp a litter with us in the fall so might need a tune up. She has had a significant amount invested in her so her price is a fraction (a TINY fraction LOL) of her training expenses and takes this into account that she hasnt been worked. Since she did have a litter she was fully OFAd Good hips, normal elbows, normal eyes, normal cardiac, and patella. She was also Embark DNA tested to be clear/non carrier for all 190+ genetic conditions they test. She is of course UTD on vaccines and been maintained on monthly heartworm and flea and tick. She was just spayed on 10/20 and had complete bloodwork done at that time as well.
Good home is a MUST and she must be a house dog. Shes really a fun and talented dog that is family approved - awesome with kids and no issues with other dogs. Cats...ehh shes been around them but I honestly cant tell you she would be okay but I will say she seemed interested in chasing.

Murphy was born here and developed as a field trial prospect she spent some time with us on the road this spring and has a placement from a Michigan field trial. She is great with other dogs, knows no stranger, and is extremely sweet and mild mannered. She knows the day to day stuff like staking out and of course e-collar conditioned and has been handled from foot, horseback, and ATV. She is a strong ranging foot handled gun dog who is typically 80-130 yards and quick working and snappy. She can cover ground and knowing her parents I suspect if you took her to the prairie she would open up her range more but also knows when to shorten if we are handling though woods or smaller fields. Shes easy handling though and will shorten up for us in the woods here as well. She likes to go with you and stays forward with good application. She LOVES birds and has an above average nose even in really tough conditions. Murphy points birds stylishly with a great tail and is a very classy dog. She is steady to flush. She is also retrieving to hand. Shes an eager and enthusiastic dog in the field and extremely smart. She is 100% ready to hunt this fall and you can take her and have fun. Henley is ready to go just in time to be someones fall hunting buddy! Henley is a 2 year old orange and white neutered male Brittany. He is a wonderful companion dog as well as a talented hunting dog.
Henley has a quick, enthusiastic, and forward ground game and is very easily handled by foot. He handles kindly and is easily adjustable in range from 70-80 yards in open fields to closer working in wooded areas. He points stylishly, staunchly, and is steady to flush. He has a beautiful retrieve to hand as well.
Henley was fully housebroken and a full-time house dog until this summer. He probably needs a little house refresher but should be easy to get back into housedog mode. He is crate trained, good on stakeouts, and has been run off foot, horseback, and ATV. He is easy enough for a first time gun dog owner. He is UTD on all vaccinations and has been maintained on monthly heartworm and flea and tick. Jack is a 5 year old intact orange and white male who is finished and ready to hunt! Jack is a fast, intense, hard hunting dog with a stylish point and wonderful retrieve. Sometimes his body moves faster than his brain but he is sure to always put birds in the bag no matter the conditions. He will finish a long day just as enthusiastically as he started as he has a seemingly endless fuel tank. He is gifted with a tremendous nose that will find birds that others run by or in the hardest scenting conditions.
Jack begin with us a field trial dog and had a very successful juvenile career with numerous wins and finishing out the year standing 4th in the American Brittany Club Derby Invitational standings. He has considerable experience on both pen raised and wild birds throughout the country. He has hunted, trained, and competed in MT, TX, OK, IA, KS, NE, MO, and AR and just about everywhere in between. He then returned home for the breaking process in SC where he was broke steady to wing and shot and backing. Since then, we allowed that training to fall by the wayside as he has been used as a hunting and guide dog so we encouraged the retrieve. If you would like to get him back steady to shot, all the foundation is there but we have allowed him to be breaking at flush for the retrieve.
He is a fast and furious dog in the field and a pleasure to watch work. He handles easily and has an adjustable range and can run large as a prairie dog but shortens up wisely here in PA with smaller fields or in the woods for grouse. Jack has had several hundred birds shot over him.
Jack is crate trained, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and heartworm. He travels well, stakes out, and is e-collar conditioned although isnt a dog that needs constant hacking or attention to handle. He will run off foot, horseback, or ATV. He is a higher energy male so is likely best suited as a kennel dog but we cant say we have given him a fair shot as a house dog. He most definitely would do best in a serious hunting home as he is very talented, high energy, and loves having a job. Jack enjoys swimming and is wonderful with all other dogs and adjusts well to new situations. He has sired a few litters so does have his health certifications and is OFA good for hips, normal elbows, normal patella, and normal eyes.
Jack is available as we are retiring some of our wonderfully talented personal dogs to make room and opportunity for the up and coming males! We have a few other dogs now with this bloodline and will not have the time to hunt Jack as much as he deserves in the coming season. We are asking $5500 and a good home is a must!
Ren is a really nice 2 year old intact male. He was owned by a local gundog trainer and good friend who we are helping sell his dogs due to really unfortunate circumstances.
We had the pleasure of hunting some of our dogs with Ren over the past year and can say hes a really nice dog. Stylish point, hard hunting, fast and has nice range. He has been used extensively as a foot hunting dog as well as a guide dog at local preserves. His experience has been woodcock, grouse, and pheasant as well pen raised as chukar and quail. Rens had several hundred birds shot over him and has a wonderful retrieve to hand. Hes staunch and steady on point until flush. He is an easy dog to handle, quiet & clean in the kennel, and gets along well with other dogs. He is house broken as well although has been in the kennel recently.

Short Shot JH (Rio). Both are young dogs who will be pursuing hunt tests, wild bird hunting, and field trials. Ringo began being actively campaigned in fall 2019 to pursue his FC with a really nice first season. We expect as strong of a litter as the first time with this pairing which produced Whiskey - a pup we kept who ended 2019 as one of American Brittany Clubs top derby dogs in the country which earned her a spot at the 2019 ABC National All Age Derby Invitational in Booneville, AR (which we unfortunately were not able to run her in as we were out of the country). We will be offering puppies from this litter and retaining a few for our started dog program.
We expect unbeatable companion and competition quality pups. We expect pups with attractive
and functional conformation - cobbly type build, nice tailset, attractive heads, and good angulation. We expect pups in the #28 -35 range for weight. Ringo is a powerful, fast, naturally forward, and honest dog in the field. He has a large
gun dog to shooting dog range but handles kindly and adjusts according to the terrain
and foot versus horseback handling. He is staunch, intense, and stylish on point with
plenty of confidence and a high head. Ringo was a simple dog to break as he exhibits
tons of natural steadiness - we joke he broke himself to be steady to wing & shot. He will
continue to pursue his FC and AFC in the coming year. Ringo is a dog who can get some
range but you can always expect for him to stand his bird honestly and he always knows
where you are and will handle to you. He has consistently produced natural steadiness,
desire, honestly, and tons of natural retrieve to his pups.
Rio is a fast, enthusiastic and naturally forward running dog in the field. She has one of
the best natural points and also has the style, elegance, and intensity we all seek. She
works the field for you and really wants to please you in everything she does but has
boldness and independence on point and in the field. She has a beautiful natural
retrieve as well and a very high level of bird drive and intensity. She was a very
uncomplicated dog to start and is currently being broke and is taking it all in stride while
maintaining drive, style, and intensity. She has her junior hunt title and numerous
juvenile field trial placements including at all breed trials.
Both parents are OFA good hips and have normal ratings for elbows, heart, eyes, and patella. Both Ringo and Rio are also both Embark DNA tested and clear / not a carrier for all 170+ genetic conditions tested.

She would be an ideal dog for a first time gun dog owner or someone looking for a great companion and weekend hunting dog.
She is a very stylish dog on point and a truly natural bird dog. She has experience on wild and pen raised birds and has a solid foundation. She is at the point where she needs to go out and continue to hunt and learn from the best teachers around - the birds! She has been primary on quail and pheasants (wild and pen raised) and chukar. She has limited experience on grouse and woodcock but has a great nose and does not look to crowd birds or creep (even when she can see them). Right now she has a short foot-hunting range from coming off a lot of yard work. We expect she will open back up to 30-50 yard range with a little time. She is careful hunting and a methodical dog in the field. She has a very soft mouth and loves to retrieve.
In the home, Maven is extremely easy. She gets along well with other dogs, cats and all people. She is laid-back and very affectionate. She is happy to sit on the couch with you or find a comfortable spot on the floor. She is crate trained and is well on her way to being fully housebroken, I just wouldnt consider her housebroken as she has been in and out kennels specifically in the last 8 months. She is in our house now and does wonderfully - she will go when you take her out, I just wouldnt trust her unattended quite yet. Not destructive, not overly interested in jumping up on things or counter surfing, pretty darn calm in the home.
Overall, she is an extremely easy dog in the house and field. We do want her to go as a house dog so please no kennel homes. She is going to do very well for someone looking for a fun little hunting dog and buddy.

Hank is a unique pup with quite a bit to offer to a companion hunting home. He is a low energy male who is handsome, social, incredibly sweet, calm, and very talented. We feel he is best suited for a companion home and foot hunting partner as he's a true gentleman's gundog. We expect Hank to end up in the #38 -45 range for weight. He has have immense style, desire, intelligence, and plenty of natural point and retrieve. He has a surprisingly calm temperament and loves attention and being a lap dog. We think he would be best suited as a house dog as he loves attention and is a very easy dog to live alongside. He travels well and takes all new things in stride.
Hank is fully crate trained, travels well, but is not entirely housebroken (our fault not his, he's been in the kennel recently)! Hank is AKC registered (you can name him yourself for AKC papers), microchipped, and has full age appropriate vaccinations (including kennel cough, lyme, and rabies). He has also been regularly dewormed and maintained on heartworm medication.

Scarlett is an 11 month old (born 11/15/2017) liver and white female who is showing great promise and talent for a hunting and companion home. She is out of a very promising field trial female who is a direct daughter of American Field CH/3x RU CH GFC/AFC/FC Firestarters Crossed the line and out of a NGDC NAGDC FC AFC Peter Gunn bitch. Her sire is a direct son of DC Shadow Attack and out of a NFC/DC/AFC Tequila Joker (HOF) daughter. Scarlett has a nice foot handling range and handles kindly. She has a good nose and points well. Her style and intensity are great and only getting better and better as she gains experience and confidence. She points well to flush and does know whoa. She does have a nice retrieve but I wouldnt consider her finished retrieving to hand. She lacks a little bit of maturity on the retrieve and sometimes has a perfect retrieve to hand but isnt consistent with finishing to hand. She is e-collar conditioned and knows here and come commands. We feel she is well started and certainly a dog that can. We would love to see him go to can be hunted now. She will do best with someone who will continue to develop her and re-enforce his training through experience on birds and just getting out hunting. She is a very affectionate, very smart, quirky, and funny dog who really tries hard and is quite comical. She is fantastic with other dogs (and cats) and LOVES to swim. She is NOT fully house broken. Cooper is sold but we will have high end starter dogs available in the coming months. We are bummed to see this guy go but our loss is your gain! Cooper is a five month old (September 29, 2017) pup out of a NGDC NAGDC FC AFC Peter Gunn bitch and by a 2x NFC GFC GAFC FC AFC Uncle Kracker dog. This pup is an absolute gem and easy, easy, easy! He has been in the home and is crate trained. He is a mellow dog in the home and very sweet. Great with children, cats, and other dogs. We are selling him as a roughly started pup just as we are not going to have the time he deserves. He is handsome and has a ton of potential. He uses his nose very well and is an unbelievably steady pup - we joke that he was born a broke dog. Steady, careful. thorough, and uncomplicated are what earns this female (SPAYED) birds in the bad even when others arent finding any! She is an exceptional hunting dog with the perfect range and handling to truly be a well seasoned and handy hunting partner. She is a fully finished hunting female who has an excellent retrieve as well. She retrieves quickly and to hand 100% of the time - even the largest of pheasants. She does back/honor as well. She is NOT steady to wing and shot - she has just been hunting trained so is steady to flush. She has been a personal hunting dog, guide dog, and breeding bitch. She has been very carefully maintained and conditioned though her pregnancies and is now retired from breeding and is spayed. She knows her job VERY well and is a dog that reliably produces birds even in the late season PA stocked hunts. We jokingly call her out Saturday afternoon dog because we can take her out after all the other dogs bump birds into heavy brush or once the birds get educated and she will find them. Another notables is NSTRA HOF Windswepts Clay Bullet who was a littermate to Nolans Last Bullet and was a Hall of Fame dog himself. She is big running but adjustable and very biddable. She is extremely uncomplicated, exceptionally birdy, and stylish. Has a nice tail set and is a big leggy girl. She consistently out-produces herself with her pups. We have a couple of her young dogs as field trial prospects and they are an absolute pleasure. She and her pups are very calm and smart but have a serious motor in the field. Her puppies are extremely uncomplicated and start early and easily on birds. The thing I probably like most about her pups is their temperament. It goes without saying they are bird-finding machines but you cant beat her pups for personality and trainability.
The sire of this litter is a young field trial dog of ours. He is a big boy with a shooting dog range and impeccable long range nose. His sire is FC Icemans Vapor Trail who has 23 field trial wins to date. He is pursing his DC as well. His mother is a direct daughter of the new national champion NGDC FC Legacys Pine Bandit. He just won the open gun dog stake at Nationals in November. Other phenomenal dogs in his very close pedigree (grandparents) are FC AFC Trademarks Iceman and NAGDC FC AFC High Hopes Fly By Nite (who will likely be a HOF dog). His pedigree continues back 4 and 5 generations as well with highly decorated dogs and HOF dogs.

You would be hard pressed to find a more rock steady pointing dog than Sarge. He is a 6 year old unaltered male with a wonderful pedigree (he is a grandson of NFC NAFC FC AFC Just Call Me Roy and 32x NSTRA Nolans Last Bullet). His style, intensity, and bird finding ability never cease to amaze us. He is a moderate range gun dog that exhibits an elegant forward running pattern. He is very adjustable and easily handled when hunting. His biddable temperament and intelligence make him a simple and fun dog in the field. He is unbelievably intense and patient on point. We actually use him quite a bit for training puppies as he will stand like a rock while the little ones run all around him or are stealing point and bumping birds. He has hunted wild and planted pheasants and quail as well as the occasional grouse and woodcock. In addition to being a handy and brag worthy hunting partner, he is an excellent representation of a breed standard Brittany. He is a very loving dog but has only been in the house occasionally - he is not fully house broken. An impressive pedigree is the finishing touch on this solid hunting partner.
