“Doc” has already been to Texas for a week long quail hunt and is getting ready to head back out west for his second wild bird hunt of the season in the coming days once the weather breaks. I am a retired 70 year old that loves bird dogs. Each year I train 3-4 birds to help pay for hunting trips out west. At 10 months of age this dog is doing outstanding. We averaged moving 18 coveys of quail each day on our first hunt; so he got plenty of wild bird experience on this hunt. He produced numerous covey and single points over the week with lots of opportunities to back and retrieve. I was very pleased with the performance of “Doc”. I can say he is ready for you to take and hunt him right out of the dog box. He is collar conditioned, “whoa” broke, returns by “come” or tone button, steady on her points, and backs on sight. Doc will make an excellent foot dog that loves to please and is well behaved in the kennel as well as during his travel to Texas. His pedigree is suberb; Rugerheim blood line. Price is $3,100. 336.870.7356; dbarnes921@gmail.com I can text videos, pictures, and papers.

They are great in the kennel. We will be heading out West for a 12 day quail/pheasant hunt in early November; these dogs can be picked up prior to our hunt or after we return from our hunt out West. I dont care which one or two you select; I plan to keep the remaining dog after the first two are selected. The dogs are broke and ready to hunt. They have great hunting desire, instincts, hunting savvy along with superb noses. They back on site and are trained to return (by both tone and voice commands) and are whoa broke and e collar conditioned. Been very pleased with their desire to hunt dead and carry a dead bird. Your Lucky Day. Sandy is going to make someone a great bird dog. She has no papers but she is one outstanding 1 year old wild bird dog. She has already been on two wild quail trips to Oklahoma this season and performed outstanding. She is extremely stylish, quick on her feet, very athletic and loves to hunt. Outstanding nose, ranges between 75-150 with tremendous desire. She is on the small size for a setter but she doesnt know it...she keeps up with the big boys. Whoa broke, collar conditioned, returns to come and tone. Holds point and retrieves. I will be happy to provide additional photos and videos of her working the fields. I would encourage you to act quickly; the only reason her price is so low is due to no papers on her.

Your lucky day. I am retired (69) and love to train quality wild bird dogs. I have two female setters (Jill & Molly) off the same litter (April 25,2021) that I was lucky enough to secure towards the end of last hunting season. These dogs are broken on both wild and released quail. On November 12th I am headed to Oklahoma for a two-week quail hunt; when I return these dogs will be ready for some lucky owner to pick up on November 30th. Both dogs are very stylish and you can have your pick of the pair; I only want to sell one of them but you can pick which one you desire. They will be 100% ready to go wild bird hunting (whoa broke, tone / come condition to return, back on site and steady on point). I do NOT train my dogs to be steady to wing/shot and neither are they trained to allow a flushing dog to run in front of them. Both dogs will make great foot dogs with outstanding noses that love to hunt and clearly understand what wild bird hunting is all about. The dogs have AKC registration papers that can be transferred to the new owner along with all their shots up to date. The dogs come from Breeder Donna Gibbons-Markey out of Texas; Sire LMD’s Jett Shadow and Dam LMD’s Rocket Reba. Reserve the Dog of Your DREAMS at this time and pick her up on November 30, 2024. Price is $3,990 for either dog. On November 20th the dogs were purchased by a hunter from Kansas. I do currently have a male 3 year old registered setter currently that is ready to go that is available for purchase. He is just back from a wild bird trip to Oklahoma. Great dog; fully trained and ready. Can be gotten for $3,200. Let me know if you have interest.

Bird dog of your dreams. Your lucky day. I am 68 years old and have a passion for training young bird dogs. Freckles (born 12.20.2022, Female English Setter) is going to be a great one. Just back from a week hunt in Kansas; she was exposed to wild pheasants and quail and held her own against more experienced dogs. Headed out again on December 1 to Oklahoma for another week of wild bird hunting. When I return around December 10th Freckles will be available to be picked up by some lucky wild bird hunter. She is fully registered in the Field Dog Stud Book (UKC); sire Futrelle’s Skeeter #1691101 and dam Futrelle’s Rosebud #1697161 ; this blood line has been tested over time for wild bird hunting. She is a ball of energy with great desire that shows a great nose and superb range for an English Setter (medium plus range); she is able to withstand heat much better than any setter I have seen. She holds her birds, backs, trained to come, whoa and load. She retrieves with about 90% consistently and hunts well for dead birds. All she needs is to find a home with someone that loves to bird hunt and gain more experience. Act quickly and place your deposit now and pick the dog up around the 10th of December. Price $3,200
