Ammo’s Mr. Misunderstood AX AXJ - “Church”
Church is an incredibly sweet, eager to please young male. While he still has a lot of filling out and maturing to do, we are extremely pleased with what we see in him so far!
Church has been collected several times, and had semen frozen with excellent post thaw motility. Semen collection reports available. In addition to naturals and side-by-sides, we are willing to ship fresh chilled or frozen.

Sunfires Shimmering Slate CD - Slate
https://www.k9data.com/pedigree.asp?ID=866643
Slate is a fabulous combination of old field and current obedience and agility lines. His father received the GRCAs Outstanding Sire recognition from his two litters, with one half sibling winning the Golden Retriever National Speciality obedience trial. His granddams are also outstanding dams, and his uncle (Topper) was number 1 obedience dog for in the country for several years in a row. Slates field and obedience careers were put on hold due to Covid and other family concerns, but he is starting in the obedience ring now (Slate earned his CD title on 10/17/21), and then going to the field in early 2022.
Slate comes from long lived lines whose temperament is impeccable, as is his - he loves everyone and everything, from puppies to kids to cats. He has all his clearances.
Slate is located in SC, and is available for natural breedings, as well as shipped fresh chilled. Frozen semen is also available.

*Puppies expected in late May 2022.*
Once puppies are born, we send weekly email updates on the puppies that also include information such as: the food we feed, our thoughts on spay/neuter, vaccinations, flea and tick meds, heartworm meds, etc. We attach helpful articles for folks relating to these topics. We also provide daily photos and/or video updates.
For our litters: puppies are whelped and raised in our dining room that is part of our open concept living space, they receive ENS and ESI, daily handling, regular nail trims, and are exposed to a bunch of things as they age (long car rides, baths, blow drying, varied surfaces both indoors and out, swimming in both a kiddie pool and a lake, birds, agility equipment - both contacts and tunnels, other dogs/people, many noises, mirrors, balloons, ladders, umbrellas, holding blinds and decoys, sprinkler systems, getting to watch our adult dogs practice agility, metal objects, the incredibly fun water bottle swimming pool, etc).
Please contact us for more information on the breeding, how we raise puppies, our process, and information about our waitlist.
Performance homes are given preference.

UPDATE 10/23/20: Taking inquiries now - performance homes only. Montee is in season now.
Lorfield's I Get Around MH40 MNH4 CCA WCX HTHF - "Cruz" x Redwing's Gossip In The Grain MH MX MXJ NF WCX - "Montee"
https://www.k9data.com/pedigree.asp?ID=866596
The decision to breed Montee to Cruz was an easy one. Cruz's sire Crockett (https://www.k9data.com/pedigree.asp?ID=134762) is the grandsire of our dog Amos (and of course we think Amos is an amazing performance and family dog). Crockett recently passed away at 16.5 years old. Montee's pedigree also brings some lovely longevity to the table (her sire is still alive at over 14 years old, and her grandsire passed away at 15.5 years old), and we hope this longevity (along with their performance abilities and golden temperaments) will be passed on to their pups.

From Cruz's owner:

Cruz is bold, outgoing, intelligent, structurally correct dog with a great work ethic and high desire to please. His drive and desire in the field, combined with his obedient attitude has earned him 40 master passes, four passes at the Master National and a pass at the Master Amateur Invitational. Cruz has always lived in the house with multiple intact males and females and has never had a problem with any of them. His temperament is exceptional, getting along with other dogs and children and always avoiding any conflict. He has all his health clearances, a low COI and a wonderful pedigree with multiple field and obedience titles. At ten years old, Cruz is still actively competing in hunting tests and training for the next Master National and an attempt at a fifth plate.

About Montee:

Montee is 5 years old, and has accomplished a lot at a young age. She passed her first Senior hunt test at 14 months old, and earned her SH title at 16 months old. She passed her first Master hunt test at 22 months old, and earned her MH at 29 months old. She is completely owner trained and handled (by her relatively inexperienced owners who work full-time), and received limited training (she was only trained on marks once a week). She is a very birdy dog, extremely water confident, handles well, and has a natural recall/retrieve.
Montee was the recipient of the Potomac Valley Golden Retriever Club's Mark Maisel Trophy in 2016, which recognizes the top junior (24 months of age and younger) dog for outstanding achievements in field areas of endeavor.
In terms of agility, Montee has her MX and MXJ titles, and has 11 QQs towards her MACH.
Montee is the most biddable dog we own and wants to please. Additionally, while she is very driven and fast while working, she is an extremely easy dog to live with and has a great off switch.

Videos of Montee running agility are available on request. Additionally, please contact us for more information on how we raise our litters, and to be added to our waitlist.

Heads Up Im Your Wingman MH WCX ** (Goose) x Redwings Gossip In The Grain MH MX MXJ NF WCX (Montee)
Pedigree and health clearance information can be found here:
http://www.k9data.com/pedigree.asp?ID=793823
Goose and Montee have both been health tested for hips, elbows, heart, eyes, the standard golden retriever DNA tests, and both are CLEAR for the recently discovered NCL mutation. Therefore, all puppies in this litter will be clear by parentage for NCL, ichthyosis, prcd-PRA, PRA1, and PRA2.
Montee is 4 years old, and has accomplished a lot at a young age.
In terms of agility, Montee has been trialing for about a year and half. Averaging one agility trial (2 days) a month, she already has her MX and MXJ titles, and has 8 QQs towards her MACH.
Montee is the most biddable dog we own and wants to please. Additionally, while she is very driven and fast while working, she is an extremely easy dog to live with and has a great off switch.
Goose is a dog I have loved since I first met him as a puppy, and it has been incredible to watch him and his owner, Pam Turgeon, grow as a team. Goose is Pams first derby dog, and he had an impressive derby career (5 ribbons in 9 trials), including: a JAM, a Reserve JAM, two 4th places, and an all-breed derby 1st! He ended his derby career with 7 points. Goose then quickly finished his MH title at 25 months old, going 5-for-5. He has just begun running Qualifying field trials and has earned two JAMs (both at only 30 months old). Like Montee, Goose is owner trained and handled.
Both Montee and Goose were recipients of the Potomac Valley Golden Retriever Clubs Mark Maisel Trophy (Montee in 2016 and Goose in 2017), which recognizes the top junior (24 months of age and younger) dog for outstanding achievements in field areas of endeavor.
Videos are available upon request of Goose running in his final derby and Montees most recent agility runs.
