1 0 0 0 0I have one female left from a litter of 9. She is 10 weeks old l, 2 rounds of shots. Have been doing some minor place training and she’s a smart pup! Have had nothing but great reports from all of her littermates. I would expect her to top out around 60lbs. Here is the litter write up:
We are thrilled to announce our repeat pairing (2.0) between Raymond and Charlie for a planned June 2026 litter. This pairing has already proven to produce exceptional puppies, and we are incredibly excited to do it again.
(From the stud owners)
Raymond (Sire)
Raymond is a son of International Field Trial Champion Apache Joe “Prince” and SOK Great Lakes female “Cali.” He embodies everything we hoped for when using our first Prince straw after his passing, strongly resembling his sire while carrying the best attributes of both parents.
Ray is a powerful, athletic dog with a big, blocky head and solid bone structure. In the field, he is a fantastic marking dog—hard charging, explosive once sent, yet calm and collected at the line. Off the field, Ray has a gentle, kind nature and loves being close to his handler, making him wonderful with both adults and children.
Raymond earned his HRCH title just before turning two years old, achieving a perfect pass rate through both seasoned and finished tests.
Charlie (Dam)
Charlie is an exceptional female who checks every box. At 57 lbs, she is smaller in stature but has unmatched drive. She is calm and quiet in the blind, athletic and strong with excellent bone structure, and has a wonderful off-switch in the home.
Charlie has produced two previous litters, with puppies showing outstanding natural ability, trainability, and strong potential in the field.
About This Pairing
This will be the second litter from this pairing. Their first litter of seven puppies has exceeded expectations—every pup has received excellent reports from their owners. We kept a female from the litter ourselves, and she has been nothing short of amazing: driven in the field, birdy, biddable, and an absolute joy to live with.
We couldn’t be more excited to repeat this breeding for 2026.

1 0 0 0 01 black female ready to go! 9 weeks and is showing great promise in early training! Loves to work and very quick learner!
Raymond (sire) - Ray is a son of our own International Field Trial Champion Apache Joe “Prince” over our SOK Great Lakes girl “Cali”. He is a specimen of a dog and is everything we hoped for when we pulled out our first Prince straw since his passing. He looks so much like his sire, and he carries just the right attributes over from both Prince and Cali. He also has a very gentle and kind nature with everyone, adults and children, just like his sire and dam.
Ray is a fantastic marking dog, hard charging in the field, and really calm and collected at the line. He has explosive energy once he’s sent, and its fun to watch him run. When he’s not actively working, he is a very calm boy who loves to be close to his handler. He has a strong, athletic build with a big blocky head and very solid bone structure.
Raymond achieved his HRCH title just prior to turning two years old with a perfect pass rate through both seasoned and finished tests.
Charlie (Dam) - She is an admirable dog who is exactly what you want. Small in stature (57 lbs) her drive is unmatched, calm and quiet in the blind, and a wonderful off switch around the house. Excellent bone structure, athletic and strong. Her first litter of pups are excelling and showing great natural ability in the field while huge lovers in the field.
This pairing should be really special. The reason we chose Raymond was due to his father Apache Joe. We have a grand daughter out of Apache Joe that is the epitome of what every gun dog owner wants. Through speaking with the owners, we believe Raymond is exactly that dog as well! This pairing should have a great amount of drive and biddability to work through anything in the field. However, in the home they are going to be your best friend, loyal companion and always down for a good snuggle!
Don’ miss out on this special pairing!

GB & IR FTCH Jake of Blackburn X HR Dogwood’s Own Charmin’ Charlie.
1 Black Females available. Will go home August 10th.
We spent much time combing over studs and talking to owners and others who knew potential studs to find the right fit. Everything led us back to Wilson being exactly what we were looking for. He is as accomplished as they come and a remarkable dog that should
pair really well with Charlie. The health and genetics are all there for a successful duo.
“Wilson is 5 years old and a BIG (77 lbs) powerful strong dog with a nice calm temperament. He is an excellent marker and overall nice dog” - Tullyah Gundogs.
Charlie is an admirable dog who is exactly what you want. Small in stature (57 lbs) her drive is unmatched, calm and quiet in the blind, and a wonderful off switch around the house. A natural retriever and delivery.
Really looking forward to this pairing and what they will produce. Should be awesome in the field and great at home. These will be Wilson’s first pups to arrive in the US. If they’re anything like they are across the pond, they will be special.
If interested, feel free to reach out for more information on everything we offer and we will get you a puppy application to begin the process of bringing home your best friend.
