We have decided to make one of our females available to the right home.
INTRODUCING — PIPER
She is a 3-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer. She is not a traditional pointing GSP and does not consistently hold a point on birds. Instead, she naturally works more like a flushing/retrieving bird dog. We want to be completely transparent about that so she goes to someone looking for the type of dog she is.
She is not for anyone who has free ranging birds. If you have any chickens, turkeys, or anything flighty, as it is in her nature.
She is E-Collar conditioned.
She has also successfully raised a litter of puppies and could potentially be considered by someone looking for a female with hunting ability and/or breeding history.
As we continue developing and refining our breeding/hunting program, we feel that her natural hunting style doesn’t quite align with the direction and goals we have for our program moving forward. This is not a reflection of her value as a dog — we simply believe she may be better suited to a home looking specifically for the qualities she naturally brings. She really is such a great dog & very loyal to her owners.
???? Located in Clanton, Alabama
Serious inquiries only. Message us for more information, pictures, videos, etc. We will be very selective on the potential home she goes to.
