He is a powerful dog with a Big motor that runs a Big Gun Dog / Shooting Dog race that is complimented by his exceptional Conformation and Movement. Ben has a wonderful pleasing temperament around all and is as much at home as a family companion as he is in the field as a competitor.

Ben started his Show Ring Campaign in July and finished his Championship in just 5 weekends. Winning a Best of Breed @ Dan Emmett Kennel Club and the going on to win back to back Best Of Winners @ Canfield, Ohio for a 4 Point Major @ Columbiana County Kennel Club and a 5 Point Major @ Beaver County Kennel Club which was the GSP Club of Greater Pittsburgh Specialty. We would like to thank Mrs. Cindy Long of Perrysville,Ohio for expertly presenting this fine young shorthair during his campaign. Ben is a 3rd Generation Fieldmaster Show Champion.

Ben was expertly trained and handled by Mr Chris Goegan of Hi Point Kennels in Alliance, Ohio. Bens campaign to his Field Championship included a 5 point Major @ Vizsla Club of Greater Cleveland, 3 point Retrieving Major @ GSP Club of Ohio and a 3 point Retrieving Major @ Oak Ridge Pointing Dog Club. Ben will continue to be campaigned towards his Amateur Field Championship / GSPCA Nationals in Eureka, KS / NGSPA Nationals in Booneville, Ark as well as Region Hour Championship Stakes around the country.

Ben is available as stud by Private Treaty to outstanding selectively bred bitches. All bitches must have a current Neg. Brucellosis test at the time of breeding and be OFA certified with a rating of Good or Excellent. Frozen and Fresh Cooled Semen available upon request.

As some of you may already know We have had some issues this year, Due to Health and recent family issues I am forced to let some great hounds and prospects go. Charlie is quickly coming on showing these same great traits of this great pedigree. He was started late and put up for some time. I have put quite a bit of time on him and he will and can be a winning hound in any format by this fall, but as I said health has kept me from giving him the attention he deserves.
He handles great, Hunts hard, has great foot, runs a good line, and is smart as his daddy. I will not sell him as 100% broke as he has ran and been shocked off deer, but has turned them down to date, he is collar broke. I am listing Charlie for $1000.00 and worth that and more.
He must go to some one that will give him a chance to trial and finish, as I believe he will no problem if given the time he needs. I also want to be able to breed to him in the future to my own personal females.

Dutch finished his Show Championship in fine fashion with two 4 Point Majors one of which was a Winners Dog @ Evansville Kennel Club Specialty Show in Louisville,Ky.

Dutch proved himself worthy of earning his Field Championship winning in Horseback Stakes , Walking Stakes and Wild Bird Stakes. He will continue to be campaigned in Amateur stakes in effort to finish his Amateur Field Championship.
