We were thrilled last year to announce that my Ryman Setter, Roux, earned a Prize III in the NAVHDA Natural Ability Test on August 30th 2024. In the same event, one of my clients’ dogs achieved a Prize I, marking an outstanding milestone in their training and performance. A few months later we headed to Maine for Grouse and Woodcock hunting and she did absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, midseason, I tore my Achilles tendon and not only my season, but her season was cut short.
Because her season was cut, at the end of the year I took her to a hunting preserve where she continued to impress.
