Gundog Central Reload : Videos!!!
We've also changed out the file uploader, you can now upload multiply files at one time, but only after your ad as been placed. Please allow all the files to upload before browsing off of the upload page. You will still be limited to uploading one photo when you first create your ad. To add multiply photos, go to Manage ads, Manage Existing Dog ads and click on ADD PHOTOS & VIDEO.
We've added the ability to DEFAULT which photo or video you want to display with your ad. In the past if you had uploaded a video, the site would always show the video, regardless of priority, now you can choose to default either a photo or a video. Videos will only show on your ad page, not when viewing all ads, so make sure you upload at least one phone as well.
We've removed the VIDEO field from the Create Classified page, because it was not be used correctly. If you posted a link to a youtube video in the field but did not use the Youtube embed code, it would only show the text, not the video and prevent your photos from showing.

I've updated Gundog Central this morning and added a couple new features. You can now vote on the classified ads, ranking them with a score of 1 to 5 stars. You must me logged in to vote and you can only vote once time per ad. If someone composes a nice ad or uploads an excellent picture, please consider giving them a high score. To vote just click on the stars or dots underneath the ad. The scores will be averaged overtime. If this feature gets abused or is not received well, I will remove it from the site.

I've made some pretty major change to Gundog Central with this updated tonight. When submitting classified ads, you will no longer have the option to upload your picture or pedigree until after your ad is submitted. I was having an issues with excessively large photos taking a long time to upload to the server, that might cause your session to timeout or lose the data you entered. Also a detailed pedigree can take a while to type in if none of the dogs are in the database. So to speed up the process and ensure that your ad gets submitted the first time, you'll now have the option to add pictures and pedigree after your ad is created. Hopefully, this saves you time and causes less hassle. Gundog Central is a very large site and sometimes these updates can cause other problems, so if you experience any issues, Please contact me at [email protected] and I will do my best to get any issue fixed as soon as possible.
