Cold Creek Hank (Whelped April-15-2017)
A nicely marked tricolor setter, Hank is one of the top English Setters in the country. Hank weighs 56 pounds in shape. He has beautifully proportioned conformation and it shows in his smooth and effortless gait and high cracking tail. He also exhibits breathtaking intensity and loftiness on point. Hank is an impressive wild bird finder, frequently out-birding his brace mates in some of the most competitive field trials. But here is the thing - he the calmest dog on our string, Hank is skilled at relaxing…nothing bothers him...he is super calm and especially gentle with little kids. Hank is rock solid dependable to be steady to wing and shot. Even when a large wild covey flushes all around him he holds his style and intensity when birds are in flight. Hank competes on both walking and horseback field trials and I have guided countless hunts with him for wild Bobwhite Quail on some of the top private plantations in Georgia. Even though he is powerful and forward running, he handles crisply and ranges according to the cover and objectives. Hank has earned 12 field trial wins.
