Event Description

On March 11-13 and 18-21, 2024, Brawner Group K9 will be having a Dog Procurement and Testing event at 19 Apple Way Paw Paw, WV 25434. Brawner Group will provide rooms at cost (first come first served) and kenneling for your dogs also at cost. We have a total of 12 rooms and 24 beds for those willing to bunk. We have a total of 50 kennels available for the event. If you attend with dog/ dogs you must pre-register with us at least 24 hours prior. The dogs that pass all testing will be purchased by Brawner Group K9. The standards the dogs must meet are as followed:

Must be up to date on vaccines
Must have good X-rays- if you don’t have X-rays we will have dates scheduled to get X-rays done and you must stay until the dog is cleared
Must have hunt drive
Must have ball or toy drive
Must have possession of toy or ball (we will work with the dog to create increased drive for a short period)
Must have no health issues
Must be environmentally sound and have no fear of heights, noises, movements, flooring
Must not get sick in vehicle
Must have good weight/ height ratio (unhealthy looking dogs will be turned away)
Must be social with dogs and humans
Must maintain distraction free while hunting (quick recovery is acceptable)
Must be a full-size large breed such as labs, pointers, or some mixes are acceptable

Our rooms are 89USD per night or 50USD per bed, this is per night. The next closest hotels are cool-font Berkeley springs, WV , and hotels in Cumberland, MD. Kennel space is 12 dollars per night per kennel our staff will clean kennels daily, if you choose not to bring your own food the cost is 17 per kennel per day. We feed inukshuk.

Our offers will depend on your dogs performance and if we pay for X-rays. Our offers may be as low as 500USD and a maximum of 3,500USD for pre done X-rays and dogs passing all performance with highest scores. All dogs may be required to come with a guarantee on health and warranty on behavior for 30-60 days depending on price paid.

You do not have to stay at our location there is camping sites within 5 minutes from the facility. Look forward to hearing back from everyone.
