Roy is a dynamic bird finder with outstanding game drive and beautiful pointing style. He has a great temperament and is quiet and reserved in the kennel. He has an athletic graceful stride, with moderate to medium range and hits the cover with drive and determination. He’s staunch on point and marks his downed birds with a swift natural retrieve. He’s easy to cast and has great check-in with a steady 10 to 2 forward hunting pattern. He has trained with multiple dogs and handlers and gets along with everybody. He is going to be an outstanding young bird dog and provide a lucky hunting family with many years of field and family companionship.
Roy was whelped here at the kennel from our Beau and Nova dogs. They are both proven field performers and can be viewed on site along with Roy. Our Hunt Ready Gun Dogs are driven to actively seek, find and point birds. They are exposed to hundreds of hard flying quail, various field scenarios, habitats, and hunting situations. They are familiar with the gun, retrieve naturally, e-collar conditioned, whistle trained and socialized with other dogs and handlers. They’re crate trained and load up easily. They are eager and ready to hunt!
