River Haven Brittanys in Hertford, NC is proud to announce the arrival of a litter of 5 American Brittany pups. There are four females and one male. They were whelped on April 14. All of the pups are white/orange and will make fine hunting dogs, great companions and will have the potential to be field trial dogs.
The sire of the litter is Blaze'n By You Too, "Deuce" and the dam is Renegade Roy's Dancin' Gypsy Girl, "Gypsy". Deuce is OFA Good and Gypsy is OFA Excellent. Both parents are awesome bird dogs with exceptional pedigrees. The sire and dam are grand-sired by National Champions and Hall of Fame inductees. Also, note that the parent's pedigrees contain CH Decan's Bitterroot Bridgette (NFC DC AFC Gambler's Ace in the Hole (HOF) x DC AFC Bet'n She'll Fly) bred to NFC FC Beans Blaze(HOF) in the sire's pedigree and bred to NFC 2xNAFC FC AFC Just Call Me Roy (HOF) in the dam's pedigree.
The Sire: Deuce comes from a Futurity Nominated litter by Maxwell's Outer Limits x Decan's Uncontained Blaze. His brother (Janee's I'm It) was the 2016 Western Futurity All-Age Champion and his sister (Janee's I'll Set the Limit) was the 2016 Western Futurity Gun Dog Runner-Up. Deuce is also the cousin of 2016 NFC FC Roustabout's Flat Out. Their mothers (FC AFC Decan's Blazin' Bye and Decan's Uncontained Blaze) are littermate sisters.
On his father's side, Deuce is the grandson of 2x NAFC FC AFC Maxwell's Blew By You II, the National Amateur All-Age Champion in both 2008 and 2010. He also won the US Open Brittany Championship in 2008. Deuce's grandmother, Maxwell's Lucky Strike, produced a national champion - 2007 NAFC Maxwell's White Spirit. There are multiple crosses to NFC FC Microdot (HOF) and NFC FC Beans Blaze(HOF) in Deuce's 5-generation pedigree.
Deuce's mother is the daughter of NFC FC Beans Blaze (HOF) who has produced more field champions than any other Brittany and he sired or grand-sired multiple champions including: FC AFC Blaze and Lobo's Evil Roy (US Open Champ.), NGDC FC AFC BJ's Blaz'n Daisy, DC AFC A Bunch of Butch (2x US Open Champ.), NFC AFC Rambling Rose VIII, NAFC FC Piney Run Sam, NAFC FC Lea's Running Jay Hawk, FC AFC Shady's Chik-n-Little (HOF), NFC FC AFC Lobo's Klickitat Co. Line.
The Dam: Gypsy is grand-sired by two Hall of Fame inductees. Her sire's father is NFC 2x NAFC FC AFC Just Call Me Roy (HOF) who was a three-time national champion. He won the 2005 NFC, 2004 and 2006 NAFC and was NFC RU in 2003. He was 3rd in the 2006 NFC and 4th in the 2007 NAFC. Gypsy's mother's sire is 1992 NAFC DC AFC Renegade's Kansas Kid (HOF). In fact, she is line-bred by Renegade's Kansas Kid. Gypsy's sister, FC Palmetto Point's Autumn's Blazing Star has two field trial wins in 2017. She was a winner in the Gun Dog stakes at the GA Brittany Club and the Tarheel Brittany Club this year.

The pups will be up-to-date on all vaccinations, dew claws removed and tails docked at the time of pick up. The pups will be ready for pick up/shipment after June 9. The pups will come with full AKC registration papers, vaccination documentation and written health guarantee on hips and genetic diseases.
