2010 UFTA Nationals
Doublehead Resort & UFTA, in collaboration with Benelli USA, is once again proud to announce the return of Tim Bradley to the 2010 Nationals. On Saturday, February 20th at 3pm Tim will be giving one of his world famous shooting exhibitions which is open to the public and free of charge. At the conclusion of Tim's show, Benelli USA will give away a Benelli shotgun to one lucky spectator (must be 18 to win). Following the shotgun giveaway a 2009 Polaris Ranger will also be raffled off to one lucky person. A limited number of tickets will be available to the general public the day of the giveaway. Tickets will be $ 10 each and you must be 18 or older to win.
In addition to all the other exciting events of the week, Doublehead has contracted with three authentic (circa 1800's cattle drive) Chuck wagons to make an appearance and cook their traditional Chuck wagon cuisine. The menu will include Chicken fried steak, pinto beans, mashed potatoes with gravy, rolls, peach cobbler and drink. Each wagon can feed approximately 50 people so meal tickets will sell out fast. Call Doublehead Resort today to purchase your ticket.

UNITED KENNEL CLUB AND NATIONAL SHOOT-TO-RETRIEVE JOIN FORCE
United Kennel Club, Inc. President Wayne Cavanaugh and National Shoot-to-Retrieve Association President Joe "Butch" Jackson signed an agreement this week to affiliate the two well respected organizations. As a result, UKC will now officially recognize NSTRA Champion titles on UKC Pedigrees and will issue Championship degrees to the owners of those dogs earning a title. Additionally, those dogs previously registered by NSTRA will now be officially registered with UKC. United Kennel Club's V.P. of Hunting Programs, Todd Kellam, had this to say, "This is one of those situations where everyone wins. We are so happy to be working with such an established and well-respected pointing dog program as NSTRA".
