Updated Pedigree Tools
We have updated the classifieds to automatically build your pedigree for you if the sire and dam are already in our system. As you complete your classified ad you can either create a brand new pedigree, use an existing pedigree that you created or you can use the auto complete feature when entering your sire and dam.

We've updated our pedigree tools again. You can now rapidly prototype any pedigree from our pedigree database. This allow you to quickly see what a pedigree might look like up to 8 generations back. Gundog Central Reload. 04-11-18
I've made some pretty major change to Gundog Central with this updated tonight. When submitting classified ads, you will no longer have the option to upload your picture or pedigree until after your ad is submitted. I was having an issues with excessively large photos taking a long time to upload to the server, that might cause your session to timeout or lose the data you entered. Also a detailed pedigree can take a while to type in if none of the dogs are in the database. So to speed up the process and ensure that your ad gets submitted the first time, you'll now have the option to add pictures and pedigree after your ad is created. Hopefully, this saves you time and causes less hassle. Gundog Central is a very large site and sometimes these updates can cause other problems, so if you experience any issues, Please contact me at [email protected] and I will do my best to get any issue fixed as soon as possible.
How to create a pedigree
I've spent a great deal of time writing this pedigree system and I hope it becomes a valuable tool to research pedigrees. Some of you may remember on the old site, that the classifieds and pedigrees were one and the same. With this version of the site, the classifieds and the pedigrees are two separate things, but your classifieds can still be linked to any pedigree you create. This should save you a great deal of time when creating your ads. If you have several puppies from a litter, there's no need to enter a separate pedigree for each different ad, just enter your pedigree once and reuse it over and over.
