What is a Verified Kennel Badge?
If you see this Verified Kennel Badge on someone’s Gundog Central profile or website, it means either we have verified this person identify and we found no negative information about them posted online or we have had an ongoing business relationship with them over the years where we can vouch for their identify. This badge IS NOT a guarantee that you won’t have a bad experience, it only ensures that you’re dealing with a real person that can be held accountable if something does go wrong. Although negative feedback about a kennel or breeder can be grounds for this badge being revoked.
How can you get a Verified Kennel Badge?
The Verified Kennel Badge is given to kennels and breeders that Gundog Central has had an ongoing business relationship with over the past 20 years. All NetKennel websites automatically receive this badge because we work with these individuals each month and can vouch for them being real people.
Kennels and breeders may purchase this badge for $149 per account. You must submit some form of identification, agree to a background check and internet search. Because there is the potential for your application being rejected, you cannot purchase this product online, you must call me at 731-926-0238 to start the process.
Breeders that I personally know that have had an account with Gundog Central for over 10 years and have no negative testimonials are eligible to receive this badge for FREE.
How do I know that the badge is real and not fake?
Only current active badge holders will be listed below. If you find someone showing this badge on their website but isn’t included in the list below, it's a pretty good indication that you don't want to deal with them. If you do find someone showing the badge but not listed, please report them to [email protected] or 731-926-0238.

Congratulations to the 2025 Top Kennels and Breeders. These awards are not based on how much money you spend on Gundog Central, but rather the number of positive reviews a kennel received vs negative reviews.

Summertime is the slowest time of the year here at Gundog Central, which makes it an a pretty good time to update the site and mark some things off my to do list. The focus of this update was really to target the spammers and scammers I've seen on the site lately. I've long had a review process in place to help me fight off this kind of behavior, but as the popularity of the site has grown, so to has the number of people we have trying to take advantage of other people. As a result, I now generally try to verify as many new accounts as I can, however this take me a considerable amount of time and can delay the approval process. Occasionally, some of these nefarious people will slip through the cracks and go unnoticed until they eventually post something to the site. When I see those ads or suspect an account of being fake, I normally just delete their data and suspend their account without question. I don't always get it right though ... and have, on occasion deleted a few legitimate accounts in the process. With this update, I'm hoping it helps give you the ability to help me police the site and warn other users of any suspicious activity or bad experiences you have. As with any update, a lot of changes have taken place and I'm sure to have broken some things and stuff. For that, I'll apologize in advance, but please, if you see something that doesn't work as expected, let me know, by email or in the forums, and I can promptly get that fixed for you. With that said, here is a list of the most recent changes.
