A whopping 10 puppies arrived on Sunday 9/7!
These two BF make a great pair! Both represent the high drive hunting abilities and the “off-switch” we are looking for in this breed as both proficient hunters and great family dogs.
Ollie earned a Prize 1 NA 112 and has a previous NA sire award. He is about 22” at the shoulder and 45-48 lbs.
Xena earned a prize 1 NA 112 and tackled the UT test with a Prize 2. She is about 22” at the shoulder and 33-34 lbs.
Diverse hunting experiences for these two include everything from ruffed grouse and woodcock as well as open country birds like huns, pheasants sharp tailed grouse and sage grouse, with some ducks thrown in to mix it up.
Both are good swimmers and retrievers.
DNA, hips, and pedigrees are on file with NAVHDA. OFA eyes were also checked on these two and both received the passing “normal” rating.
