We breed for temperament, desire, nose, pointing instinct, flushing instinct, retrieving instinct, conformation and above all else ...the innate ability to find birds!!
Generally, we have pups, started and finished dogs available and we are always delighted to have you visit and watch our bird dogs work. I dont believe you will find a better guarantee anywhere.

Ive picked up two dogs from Ross and have been happy with both. First one was a NAVHDA VC at two years of age, in spite of me being a complete rookie as a trainer and only having a handful of chukar and one road-killed mud duck to train with. Newest arrival is shaping up to be just as good.
Interesting thing about Ross is that he is a rare pointer breeder who places value on retrieving, and is experienced in NAVHDA. Both of my dogs are very solid at retrieving, and I dont lose many birds in the field. Theyve also been nice companions around the house and kennel, very quiet, clean, and well-behaved.
Ross was quick to help me out with training questions long after my checks had cleared. Two thumbs up from South Dakota.
