My husband and I have had four German Shorthaired Pointers and we absolutely LOVE the breed. We lost our beloved Kenny to bone cancer on February 1st. I immediately started looking for a GSP breeder. I contacted Rod and was quite impressed with his knowledge and love for the breed also. He sent me pictures of the parent dogs along with puppy pictures from previous litters. He was easy to talk to and took his time speaking with me. He said he has been breeding GSPs for four years. Rod researches the bloodlines and pays extra close attention to the details; he knows what he is doing!! He called me as the puppies were being born on March 18th. We went to look at the puppies in April and chose one that our seven year old grandson seemed to favor a lot. This past Sunday we went to bring our wonderful puppy home. He is such a GOOD puppy!! He is laid back, easy going and well adjusted. My daughter is a professional dog trainer and I asked her what she liked best about our new puppy and her response was his chill. I wholeheartedly give Rod a rating of 5 stars. He is more than willing to work with you to find the right puppy!! All our previous GSPs were liver and white ticked but JJ is black and white. His solid black head looks and feels like black velvet.
I very highly recommend Rod as an excellent source for an outstanding German Shorthaired Pointer!! His love and respect for this breed is very obvious. I like dealing with a person who truly believes in their product and this certainly can be said for Rod.
