Here at Heritage Gundogs, we own and train a large string of pointing dogs for guided hunts in MT, AZ, NM, and CA. Our dogs perform in a wide variety of terrain on a diversity of wild bird species. We have the experience and expertise it takes to develop a pointing dog that you will be proud to own and eager to show off to your friends. We take all breeds of pointing dogs. Our main focus is on developing them into world-class gundogs that can find and properly handle wild birds. These are dogs that will make your days in the field more productive, pleasurable, and memorable.
Heritage Gundogs also provides a professional guide service with expert local bird knowledge, exceptional gundogs, and everything in between. We exclusively hunt wild birds in the best habitat available in Montana, Arizona, and California from September through January. Because this is a 100% wild bird operation we must be very careful about managing the resource, which means limiting the number of guided hunts we offer each year to ensure everyone has the best hunt possible. Please know that availability fills up fast and we encourage you to book your hunt well ahead of time. And please feel free to bring your own personal gundogs if you wish!

We are a family run dog business that strives to produce the perfect combination of hunting lines and family companionship in Labradors and English Pointers. Occasionally we will have started or finished Labs and/or Pointers for sale.
Our pups are not raised in a kennel but are rather raised in a family setting with our 3 children to help socialize!!
We also offer Gun Dog Training for Pointers, Setters and Retrievers and All Breed Obedience Training.
