Champion bloodlines. Sire is CH Snyder’s Fireside Ed. Ed is a 2XNational CH/ 3XCH in Grouse and Woodcock cover dog championships. Ed is sired by 3xNational CH/ 8XCH/ 3XRUCH CH Ponderosa Mac who is the winningest cover dog in history.
Dam is Reeds Sweetbrier Angel. Angel’s sire is a 1xNSTRA champion, and grandson of 1xNational CH Hytest Sky Hawk. Angel’s dam is a daughter of CH Clarys Tomoka Trouble Cody, and a granddaughter of 3xCH/ 1xRUCH CH Ridge Creek Cody.
We hunt Angel on grouse and woodcock. She is one of the best grouse dogs we have ever had - great nose, strong drive, hard hunter -- oblivious to thorns, brush, and downed trees. She will go anywhere to find that bird! Angel is a real sweetheart, people-oriented, and has a great personality.
The puppies are being raised in our home with TLC. They have the potential to be excellent bird-dogs, as well as wonderful family dogs.
Our experience with Esther and her beautiful property was 10/5 stars! We met through an online search, and the moment I saw her page I fell in love! I came across a sweet, beautiful little puppy, and I knew he was mine!
She was super quick to respond and thorough in her communication. We arranged to come to the property and meet her and the puppies, along with their momma! What a stunning Setter! The property was well maintained, with so, so much space for the pups to run!
We brought our little man home that day! His name is Jaxon.
Most of all, I really appreciate the relationship we have grown since that very day. We have received photos and texts, and even a Christmas Card with all of the puppies and momma! We are not only customers, but we consider them friends and family!
If/when we decide to add another puppy child to our family, we will 100% be returning to Sweetbrier!!!
This breed is not only excellent to hunt, but fantastic with kids and families!!!!
