AHHA Kennels specializes in upland hunt training for bird dogs, obedience training for all breeds, trick training for all breeds, as well as breeding German Shorthaired Pointer puppies. I am able to read any dog to identify exactly what is going on in their head and why. This gift gives me the ability to make quick progress with a dog that is on the right track, and it is a huge advantage while assisting a dog that needs to overcome issues that other trainers may not be able to comprehend. My years of practice along with my perception, understanding and awareness of dogs gives me the skills to make any desired advancements with your pet. We also provide quality German Shorthaired Pointers that are healthy, versatile and full of natural ability. Our elite hunting dogs have superior pedigrees from Champion Bloodlines and have been featured numerous times on the television programs Exploring the Outdoors and Pennsylvania Outdoor Life. They exhibit ideal temperaments and intelligence making them a pleasure to train. These traits in our Shorthairs make them an outstanding choice for the field and your home. At AHHA we strive to give our puppies a great deal of experiences. This helps create a well socialized puppy that will be a great fit for their new family. We like our puppies to go to hunting homes that also appreciate an excellent companion. ROCKY RIDGE KENNELS
517 LITTLE YORK ROADCOLUMBIA CROSS ROADS, PA 16914 USA
If you are searching for a great companion or hunting dog, Jed & Brenda Burkholder can help. Jed grew up in a family that bred and sold puppies. When he came to the area, he decided he wanted to continue in his father’s footsteps. He had always been a dog lover, so it was an easy transition. Jed & Brenda have been breeding for over 12 years now and own and operate Rocky Ridge Kennels. They are passionate about raising quality, well-bred, and socialized puppies. The health of their puppies is important, and they schedule routine vet checks for all the pups. Rocky Ridge Kennel is a licensed commercial kennel, regularly inspected, and a state-of-the-art facility! Jed prefers the AKC registry, however his German Shorthaired Pointer breeding dogs go back to the German registry with hunting and champion bloodlines. He likes the German Shorthaired Pointer because it is a smart and easy-to-train breed. They make great bird dogs, are good with children and with other animals, and they are well behaved in the house. Dewclaws and tail docking are completed within recommended guidelines. Jed feels that socialization is an important part of the puppy process, and he firmly believes if he has a shy puppy, then he is not doing his job. His children are involved in that socialization process from the birth of the puppy until they go to their forever homes. Jed also raises Beagles for hunting dogs, training them from an early age. They make good pets, are great with kids, and hunting is in their blood. He began Beaglier breeding because he wanted a cross breed and really liked the ears on them with the Cavalier nose on the Beagle. This cross is more energetic than the beagles, is perky, and is one of his kids’ favorites. His wife, Brenda, keeps detailed records on all the puppies, their daily weights during week one, the puppy care they receive, and she also charts their markings. With such attention to details, they are able to ensure each puppy is healthy and thriving, even giving supplements that help a dog’s digestive system. Jed & Brenda love the family involvement and are thankful for past customers who have provided loving homes for their puppies. Contact Jed or Brenda at 570-596-3859 or 570-417-3859.

VOM SCHLUSSSTEIN DRAHTHAARS
190 POINTER RDEVERETT, PA 15537 USA
The Deutsch Drahthaar is considered the most versatile hunting dog in the world. We breed and raise only VDD registered Drahthaars which means all our dogs are breed certified and all puppies are registered. Just what does this mean to someone looking for a hunting dog? Both parents have passed a minimum of 2 hunt tests. During these tests the dogs use of nose, search, pointing, cooperation, and ability to track are evaluated. They also go through many retrieving tests, and also judged on their desire to work. At any time dog shows aggression toward people or other dogs, or displays intimidation they are marked not breedable. They will have their hips, shoulders, elbows evaluated for any genetic defects. They will have passed the breed show to ensure their coat and confirmation is within the breed standard. We do all our training for hunting and breed testing, we have provided many hunters with their first drathaar and in many cases their very first hunting dog. We take great pleasure in helping them train and prepare their dog for the field. We do not require testing but we will help those who would like to test their dogs and appreciate their efforts. We do require however, that all puppies go to a hunting home. If you would like to learn more about our dogs or even set up a visit to meet them and see them in action contact me.
