Sometimes a mating just works exactly like you hope it will! All the babies are roan with lots of patches. All are active and looking for ways to get out of the basket or the whelping box at only 4 weeks and all are very well bred! Not a cull in the whole bunch of them! They are bred for the hunt and they are not cheap, run of the mill puppies. If you train them well, they will surely perform for you! If you are not sure... look at the picture of the 5 1/2 week old baby with her quail! She caught it and kept it too! Follow this link for video of the pups!
