35 year breeding program combining the best American and German bloodlines including Bona, Sundance, Westwind, Hustler, Shooting Starr and Sternjager. Bred by a small group of friends to be staunch upland pointers, legitimate waterfowl retrievers and calm family pets. Our dogs are hunted more extensively and on a larger variety of game than any field trial or hunt test titled dogs in the country. This is a first time pairing of two dogs that exemplify everything we are breeding for, beautiful conformation, staunch point, strong natural retrieve, exhaustive desire to hunt dead and the kids’ favorite family dog.
The sire ‘Zeke’ has proven himself as an exceptional and truly versatile hunting dog nearly from birth. With a service dog personality in the house but a field trial dog’s fire in the field and water, he truly is a special GSP. Very strong pointing and retrieving instinct. Hunted extensively in many states on waterfowl and upland birds. 56 lbs. Zeke has earned his NAVHDA NA 112 Prize 1 and a UT 201 Prize I and will be running in the 2025 NAVHDA Invitational. NO force fetch training. Owner trained and handled.
The dam ‘Gemma’ is dark liver roan and around 50 pounds. Gemma is a special female with tons of fire, strong retrieve and point, but an absolute sweetheart in the house. Fast and athletic,but hunts for the handler. Exhaustive search on down birds. Beautiful color and conformation. All German import bloodlines from Bona’s Kennels.
