Walt is an exceptional natural bird dog. Natural point, back, and retrieve. He has hunted wild birds in VA, TN, NC and KS. I was guide hunting Walt at 11 months old, standing steady to wing and retrieving natural softly to hand. He will sit in the duck blind all day, and swim until he almost drowns. Totally natural retrieve. Walt is not only a superb wild bird dog, but is also an WKC Field Champion and Amateur Field Champion and has a prize II in NAVHDA natural ability. He lives in the house and has that off switch that everyone is looking for, we dont even have to crate him at night. Walt has an awesome nose, and when he sticks a bird, hes stuck until you send him. A few of the guys that go to Kansas with us hunting quail and pheasant wont even get out of the truck if Walt aint going to be turned out. He finds birds where and when no other dogs are finding them. Since the day I got Walt as an 8 week old puppy, Ive said I think he knows English. Show him what you want and he does it, with style, vigor, and class. Walt will stand steady to wing, shot and fall; retrieving to hand and will heel away with the bird softly in his mouth. He is egger to please and very biddable. He finds birds when no other dog is finding them, whether that be in a field trial or when out hunting wild birds. He is a trust worthy dog, easy to handle, and honest as the day is long.

Lacy is just as exceptional as Walt. She’s has hunted wild birds in TN, VA, NC, KS, as well as guide hunting. She has a natural to hand retrieve, will sit in the blind and retrieve until you are ready to go home. She took to the water like a duck, and loves swimming. She has a beautiful gun dog run, and handles like a Ferrari. She will stay to the front and is always aware of her handler- whether on foot, ATV, or horseback. She has a cannon of a nose and enough style to make your friends jealous! She hits her birds hard, and stays stylish until you send her for a retrieve. Lacy loves to please, and is an awesome dog in the house and around small children. She has loads of drive in the field and water; she will go hard all day long, but turns it off the second you ask her to and will lay on the couch. My 12 year old daughter has handled Lacy in obedience and on birds.

This breeding will produce driven, biddable, natural retrieving, stylish bird dogs with a cannon for a nose that you can hunt test, field trial (walking or horseback), show, retrieve ducks from the blind, and hunt wild birds over all season long.
