Are you ready to bring the true All Around American Family Dog home? Meet the Mountain Cur!

The Mountain Cur is a breed created to help the American family, these dog are incredible hunters, loyal family dogs, and the jack of all trades!
Can they really hunt? YES!
The Mountain Cur is known for hunting a variety of game, if you put a Mountain Cur on it, they got it.
Bear? Check.
Squirrel? Yup.
Raccoon? Bet.
Rabbit? Mhm.
Deer? Yes.
Ok, but can they bird? Definitely.

OK they can hunt you get it, but can they get along in a family as a family indoor dog? YES!
Absolutely these dogs can, actually both of the parents to this litter are indoor family dogs, these dogs love children, they love other dogs, and they love their family most of all. If you want the dog that can run to the woods with you, or go on family car rides and come home to lay in a ball on the couch, this is the breed you have been looking for.

Can they do Service Dog work? YES!
While not ALL Mountain Curs can work as Service Dogs, there are a few dogs that can excel in a job like this. These dogs were built and bred to do everything. When we temperment test our puppies, we aew able to predict what our puppies lives will look like, where they will thrive in life, and I place all of my puppies as such - I match puppies to their owner to provide the BEST match, I want you and my puppy to be happy throughout your lives together, and I want to set you and my puppies up for success.
Because I am not just selling you a puppy, but I am entrusting you with a small part that makes my heart whole.

What about protection sports? YES!
While there are not many Mountain Curs involved in the sport of Protection (PSA, IGP) there are Mountain Curs who are involved, or were involved in these sports. This does NOT mean this is an aggressive breed, but it shows how intelligent this breed is, and how versatile the breed can be - these dogs take their jobs seriously, and they want to make their person happy, if that means biting a suit because mom is cheering him or her on, they will happily do that - just like when they bark and lunge at the squirrels in the trees, but now the squirrel is a sleeve.

More questions, just ask! I am happy to talk dogs for hours on end with you!

I have a litter of OMCBA, UKC, and AKC FSS registered Mountain Curs, both parents are exceptional hunters, and the dam has her International Championship title.
