Maternity Ward For Dogs

I know this is a repost, but I thought I needed to say more. I am considering opening up a maternity ward for pregnant dogs of owners who are not comfortable taking their dog through the birthing process and raising of pups. I worked for a vet for 6 years. I have a biology degree and a science ed degree. I have raised 5 litters of pups. I have a close working relationship with the local vet. I also have a secure kennel wired for heating and cooling. I would truly appreciate input on if you think there could be a market for this service. Good or bad, it will all be appreciated.

Bill, as a computer programmer / technician, I once had my aunt ask me if she should invest in the `Cloud`, referring to Cloud computing. This was long before the `Cloud` existed. At the time, I told her no, that I didnt think people would be comfortable using it. Well ... turns out I was wrong and now everything lives in the `Cloud`. All our streaming services, Youtube, NetFlix, HBO. Your phone backups, pictures and purchases, even Gundog Central to some degree. All that to say, I am wrong more often than not. Part of me wants to say that if someone wasnt comfortable having a litter of puppies, that they should look into getting their dogs spayed or neutered, but thats not likely to happen. Everyone going to have their own opinion about whether its a good idea or not, but I think the only true way to find out is to just do it and see how it goes.

Thanks. I am not looking to make any real money. I love raising pups. Love the whole process. If I can pay some bills with the money, that will be great. I am going to give it a shot. Just have to figure out how to get the service in front of the right crowd. Thanks again for your info. And, I should have taken my graduation gift money and bought Coke stock.....
