Is there a standard whistle commands that everyone uses or is it up to the trainer?

A lot of this is up to the trainer and how you will use your dog.

Typically Ive seen one long blast of the whistle to have the dog stop. Multiple small whistle bursts are to recall the dog. Sometimes trainers might have a third whistle combination to have the dog change directions.
