Training Dummy Advice

Looking for guidance to stimulate dogs interest in retrieving training dummies. Have conducted short training sessions over last 6-months with male Lab pup, now 11-months old. Dog recently lost all interest in retrieving dummies. Perhaps an adolescent phase but would appreciate any pointers to stimulate interest level. My two previous Labs were fixated on dummies from day-one which greatly aided training.
