What A Find. “Doc” is just back from a week long wild bird hunt in Texas. I am a retired 70 year old that loves bird dogs. Each year I train 3-4 birds to help pay for hunting trips out west. At 10 months of age this dog is doing outstanding. We average moving 18 coveys of quail each day; so he got plenty of wild bird experience on this hunt. He produced numerous covey and single points over the week with lots of opportunities to back and retrieve. I was very pleased with the performance of “Doc”. I can now say he is ready for you to take and hunt him right out of the dog box. The only weakness I saw was inconsistency in retrieving. He is collar conditioned, “whoa” broke, returns by “come” or tone button, steady on her points, and backs on sight. Doc will make an excellent foot dog that loves to please and is well behaved in the kennel as well as during his travel to Texas (22 hours). His range is ideal for a foot hunter. His pedigree is suberb; Rugerheim blood line. Price is $4,000. 336.870.7356; [email protected] I can text videos, pictures, pedigree. #gundogs#gundogcentral#huntingdogs#sportdog#fielddog#dogsofgundogcentral#germanshorthairedpointer#versatiles#finisheddogs#forsale#gundogsforsale#huntingdogsforsale#male#lowrysrugerheimstormingstonewall#lowrysrugerheimblueskysadie#denton#northcarolina
