Ive dreamt about this litter of puppies since I was a boy, and they finally arrived!
Maybe your family was like mine, I grew up with a Labrador by my side. After supper on summer nights, that dog was my constant companion. In the fall, my dad and I would fields in the Dakotas and thats where I truly fell in love with upland hunting, and the interaction of bird, dog, and master. Its also where my grandparents hunted before - when my grandmother could outshoot most men with her 20-gauge.
That memory is part of what inspired me to build Family Labs, not a kennel, but a family line. Weve raised these Labs for four generations, dogs that live in the home, love the field, and know when to be still and when to charge forward. The kind of Labrador that feels like they were born to know you.
Liberty is our fourth-generation female - gentle, steady, and instinctively talented in the field. Shes been paired with Rico, a titled Master Hunter whose father, Riks Risky Raider, is a Hall of Fame pointing Lab. This litter is a fusion of field trial heritage and family-raised heart.
We raise our pups in the house, not a kennel and every pup is handled, socialized with kids, introduced to scent and sound, and gently prepared for real life in the home or the field.
