Bleu is a 12-month-old AKC-registered yellow lab with full breeding rights. Bleu has a strong foundation in obedience and started his gundog training, which includes, but is not limited to: Sit, Here, Lay-down, Place, Kennel, Heels on and off leash, steady to shot, delivers to hand, force fetch, honors other dogs, e-collar conditioned, and some basic handling skills. Bleu has done marks out to 100 yards on land with ease and 40 yards on water. He loves the water and will jump off docks without hesitation (when commanded) to complete a retrieve.

Bleu is fully integrated in a house environment and does not get on furniture or beds. He also does well in kennels and is not a barker. He is great around dogs and kids. Bleu does not show any signs of aggression and will take treats gently from your hand. He loves being around people and being petted. Bleu is a sweetheart at his core with not a single mean bone in him.

Bleu has a great work ethic and wants to please. He is a semi-sensitive dog and will not excel or do well with hard-handed/high-pressure training. With his work ethic, he performs well with attrition vs high-pressure training.

Due to my husband having a multi-valve open heart surgery a few weeks ago, we are downsizing the number of dogs we have. Please understand that Bleu holds a special place in our hearts! We will be selective about the home he goes to. We want it to be a successful match for both his new family and Bleu.
